Bar service was fine, but that's about all. Let's start with the easiest thing to do that they still got wrong - A simple glass of Coke. It was watery to the point it tasted like nothing. "Ok", I thought, this is pretty common for post mix.

I had ordered the steak with chips and salad, and when I got it I was disappointed to say the least. The cut of meat was the saltiest, most stringy bit of steak I've ever been served. It wasn't rested properly and because they just dumped it on top of the chips, it made them all soggy with meat juice.

The chips were on par with the cheapest home brand Coles chips you can get. Apart from the ones that went soggy from the meat, they were dry and also tasted like cardboard. No seasoning at all, I think they used all their salt on my steak already.

The salad was a mix of leaves and onions soaked in an extremely overpowering dressing, I couldn't eat it.

The garlic sauce that came with my order was watery, bland and had a weird skin on the top when I got it.

For over $40 this meal was a joke, and the people responsible for making it should go back to cooking school and start again. Probably the worst pub food I've ever been served, I will not be returning and I will be telling anyone thinking of going to try somewhere else. I would have sent my food back but I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes just for them to...

The burgers here are the same as you would make at home by yourself. The chips that come with burgers appear to be handcut but they were undercooked so resemble boiled potatoes more than chips, absolutely no fried outside too them but dripping in oil.

The Fried chicken burger is deceiving, its not the standard 'fried chicken'... it was a chicken schnitzel that they clearly use for the parmigiana s as well. Not only that, but it wasnt even a whole chicken schnitzel, it was cut in half with!? These are the same schnitzels you use for $9 parmy nights and you had to save half to give to someone else? Come on guys. Butterfried chicken or change the name to 1/2 schnitzel burger.

The fried chicken was tasty however be aware that you are getting the same chicken no matter what you order, they just change the dipping sauce which is a little deceiving.

Also the wait times can be incredibly unreasonable. Pop in for a 15 minute meal and beer but wait 45 minutes for a meal or longer as soon as it gets a little traffic.

Overall the food was average 5/10 however I've rated down because you are paying gourmet prices for...

Well 2 out of 3 ain't bad... the first couple of visits were great, nice staff, good food if not a little pricey but fresh and has a good atmosphere with a bit if energy!

Then you get the short stocked barmaid whose attitude is 100 times her size and worth, ask a question like what does it come with and she says it is on the menu.. showed her it isn't stated and then her answer is sadly wrong, and you dont get what you ordered. Apparently can't add onions of any variety to your burger... also on Thursdays they dont let you order a drink while you order your meal. Another lie, and it was busier earlier in the week. Honestly, this staff member will slowly kill a business.. horrible attitude and seems to be offended when asked to help a customer..wouldn't suggest she works in customer service.. maybe a morgue!?

Other staff have all been lovely, but dont lie to and rip off your customers all while giving absolutely terrible attitude!! Stop polishing cutlery and learn what your job's...
