Last Slice Dalyellup — Restaurant in Western Australia

CHEIF REFUSED TO COOK OUR FOOD… Booked a table for 6:30… waiting in the busy line for 20minutes and ordered around 7:00 ($150+ on food and drinks for a table of 6 Adults + 1 Child) . All our dishes were coming out at different times, it got to 8pm and we were still missing a chips and beef tacos. We asked our very nice waiter at the time and she got us the chips within minutes but the beef tacos were nowhere to be seen, we asked again 5minutes later and she said she’d follow them up. After waiting only a few minutes our waiter came out to break the news that we could only get a refund because the chief refused to make/push our tacos forward because it was so busy. The Tacos WE PAID FOR as a customer at Last Sloce Dalyellup, again… the chief refused to make so our only choice was to get a refund, yes you read that right… I have never EVER had this happened nor heard of it. The staff were amazing and tried to help but even said themselves “the chiefs attitude tonight has been disgusting” and that “he’s been working with us for 5 years and he still hasn’t change”… they asked us to please leave a review so it can be looked into because there over it. Bless the staff on that night, tried to offer a free drink and were so kind about the situation that was out of their control but the damage was already done.

The 2 stars left on this review are for the staff and atmosphere… let me just say the chief needs more than a smack on the wrist and that our experience at the Last Slice Dalyellup has left a salty taste in our mouth for the place.

We were outside although we booked, but given a tiny round bar table for three for a meal, it wasn't big enough,so went outside,the heater wasn't working although the manager tried to put it on( manager was trying to be helpful) then it went out again.our order came in two lots should have been altogether,first part was very late but was enjoyable, then waited and waited and waited, asked the manager about the other part of our meal which should have been with our first, he said they had taken it to another table, well eventually it arrived and then it was almost cold and not cooked properly it was chicken, spoke to manager again and he said he would get us hot food, came out totally dripping in fat, was hotter but still not cooked properly, we were suppose to have a dipping sauce which apparently came out with the first part, manager got us another dipping sauce.. not impressed and the three of us will not be going back, although manager...

Ok so where to start. Dinner for 2 adults and 1 child $110 (just for the food!) Kids fish and chips with snapper was overcooked and snapper dry. As I tried some. Kids meal arrived 15 mins before I received my steak meal with mushroom gravy and the gravy was horrible compared to other places I eat out that are way less popular but the steak was good. Then after I finished my meal and waited another 10 minutes my partner's pizza finally arrived (abit Undercooked and floppy compared to others!) after I had to talk to staff to ask why we all couldn't enjoy an expensive dinner together and I got they wher busy! I looked around and replied its definitely not busy. They wher probably at %55 capacity. I definitely will never eat here again without a doubt!!!!! Which is unfortunate because its the closest to where we live. I honestly don't know why they still get so busy sometimes considering everything we experienced. DO NOT...
