What a great little treat this place has turned out to be. The owners are so accommodating & lovely. The food was nice. The games are a nice touch for our children. They didnt bug us one bit as they were occupied playing games & having fun while we had drinks & caught up. Definitely recommend giving these guys a go. It was so lovely to relax while the kids had fun. As we were celebrating birthdays they brought out brownies free of charge with candles to add to the occasion! Pretty disappointing. Walked in the bistro side (Saturday night 16/8) to have a meal with my friend. Ordered a parmy (tasted frozen & over cooked chips). My friend ordered fish and chips - tasted bland. Prices are a bit high considering the quality. Ambiance seemed a bit weird - people trying to have a relaxing dinner and then yelling children. Bar staff in the bistro felt like it was understaffed/undertrained and a bit chaotic behind the bar. Finished our meal and headed to the sportsbar to have a nightcap. Have lived in Kwinana for 17 years, I recall seeing live music in this space which is now a dining venu. Has been closed for over 10 years. It's great to see the current owners are trying to spruce up the pub. Staff are friendly, the food is not so good. Bland pub grub, ordered curry, no heat no flavour.
