Hungry Bear Cafe is a real gem and a breath of fresh air amongst all the big franchise coffee chains. Heather and her son Sam have created something special â a true, family-owned local cafe thatâs full of heart.
Heatherâs passion really shines through, especially with her experimental pastries that keep things exciting. (The salmon quiche was a standout, and now the new corned beef and mash pies are absolutely spot on.) Coffee is really good a bit on the strong side which suits my Taste's quite well.
Food is what you would expect from a small coffee shop, think of the dome and the coffee club but the menu is not as large still just as good. Highly recommend the quiches they are so good. They do have dietary options for vegetarians not to sure for vegans and cieliacs.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All the staff are wearing smiles and look genuinely happy to work there which just adds to the atmosphere.
Service is quick and professional.
Summary: ideal neighbourhood coffee shop cosy, foods good, coffee is great and the quiches are amazing...
