Pizza and Coal — Restaurant in Western Australia

I’m a local resident and was very excited to have a local pizza place close to my house. I have ordered twice in total over the past few weeks. Last Friday, I ordered a chicken pizza as well as a pepperoni pizza. The bases tasted good, enough sauce etc but their toppings are unsatisfactory. I was given a cheese pizza which a small amount of pepperoni on top as well as a chicken pizza with a small piece of chicken on each slice. $24 a pizza and the majority of it was cheese. I was nice, I contacted them about it, they responded on Facebook and said someone would be in contact. No one was, I contacted again, three days later, still nothing. I’m not expecting anything, just an apology, or an explanation would of been good. They blamed their kitchen hands and said they were inexperienced. Take ownership of your product, call customers back who have been nice and gave you feedback. I hope they make changes...

The menu , display, claims are misleading. Photos attached. Do not recoomend from my experience. There is no charcoal or coal fire. Signs, menus, and even questionable charcoal on the floor were disappointing. The stopping of coal firing reportedly two years back. But when ordering the shop, I did not advise so. Even after 20 minutes of waiting order, the shop attendant advised a significant part of the ingredient that was not here. Requested the shop manager to call back before I publish my review. One week, no one contacted. I did not mind paying $25, but after such a disappointing experience, I would not consider even going there no matter what . Fruitless waiting and totally wrong claims are not going to earn more...

Absolutely TERRIBLE! Spent $140 on pizzas that were BLAND , OVER COOKED and had pretty much NO TOPPINGS. There was nothing ‘gourmet’ about the gourmet chicken as you could hardly tell there was anything else on it besides burnt cheese. The pizza was not the worst part of the experience to be honest… it was the owner! Got told to bring the pizzas back so they can see it…. Owner was not there so left the pizza and was told he would call back when he was back in the shop…. Over an hour passes and still no call back.

I call back and the owner just tells me that’s how they do their pizzas??

do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you want pizza and...
