I made a group booking for our son's 18th birthday. The owners were helpful before the event but the assistant on the night was not especially friendly. A few more smiles would have helped. Perhaps she was stressed.
The main courses were delicious, but most were not very generous for the price.
The tiramisu was very over-priced for the quality and quantity. I don't know if mascarpone (an expensive ingredient) was in it, but it just seemed to be a single layer of cake, over-soaked with coffee and covered with cream. It was tasty, but nothing particularly special, and certainly not worth the high price. Disappointing.
P.S. Further to reading the owner's response to my review:
I am sorry that my honest review offended you. I agree that you were very helpful during the booking process (already mentioned above). I also agree that the tiramisu was made at fairly late notice (much appreciated). However, the main dishes, although delicious, were not all very generous. My husband and I had a little bruschetta followed by lasagne (for him) and gnocchi (for me). We were both left hungry.
The tiramisu was good, but I expected (for the price) for it to be amazing. It wasn't. It was good, but not amazing. Just looking now at the website photos, the plates of tiramisu look fantastic, and very generous (thick, layered and large). Our tiramisu pieces (once the slab was divided up) were not that generous. (Only 10 people had food that night, incidentally, because one of the party had had a recent tooth extraction.) Furthermore, two of our party found the flavour of coffee too strong, and wasted half of their shares.
I also didn't mention (in my review, above) the atmosphere of the restaurant, which was disappointing. The place is small, loud and lacking Italian atmosphere. Some tables had no tablecloths.
Summary: Main course food (flavour/quality)- five stars Main course generosity - three and a half stars Dessert flavour - three and a half stars Dessert generosity - two stars Friendliness and service (on the night) - two and a half stars Presentation and atmosphere - one star

Read moreTiramisu Pizzeria has always been one of my favorite places. I’ve ordered through DoorDash many times, and the pizza never disappoints. Recently, I decided to dine in for the first time, and while the food was great, the overall experience didn’t end as well as I had hoped.
We had some pizza left, and my nephew had just woken up, so we were taking our time finishing up. That’s when a staff member came over to remind us that other customers were waiting for our table. Now, I’m a very understanding person, and I’m not offended by the staff bringing this up, but it did feel a bit off. Including the time we spent waiting for our food (though I can’t remember exactly how long), we had been there for about 60 minutes when she reminded us, and I mentioned we would need another 20 minutes. In the end, we left within 90 minutes.
We had spent over $100 on our meal, and while I know that doesn’t give us the right to stay as long as we want, I think it’s fair to expect a more relaxed atmosphere in a dining place. If there’s a time limit for how long customers can stay, it would be helpful to have a notice or sign to let people know upfront. It’s not like I believe spending more gives me more rights, but at the same time, if customers have to wait for a table, that’s just part of the dining experience, especially in Australia. The staff member who reminded us was super polite, and I’m not upset with her at all. It’s just that, for me, it felt a bit surprising and unnecessary in the moment. I thought, "Wow, Okay."
That being said, I still love their pizza. Their chef does an excellent job, and I can't deny that. Despite this unfortunate dine-in experience, I’ll still give them a five-star review because the pizza is that good. It’s clear the quality of the food comes first, and I’ll definitely continue ordering from them, even if I don’t plan on dining in again.
P.S To the owner, please don’t take this feedback the wrong way. I truly enjoy your pizza and pasta, and this is just an honest account of my experience during one visit. I’m sharing it as constructive feedback, not as a complaint, because I still think your food is fantastic and worth a...

From the moment you step in, the ambiance and the attentive customer service stand out as the highlights of the experience. The food is undeniably excellent. We highly recommend trying their chili mussels—perfectly cooked with just the right balance of spice and flavor. The menu offers a variety of Italian classics, all prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic techniques. The quality and portion sizes make it great value, averaging about $30 per person.
The restaurant is not crowded, making it ideal for a relaxing meal with friends or family. While you can book a table in advance, chances are you'll find one available even without a reservation. Its location and cozy setup add to the charm, making it feel like a well-kept secret for those in the know.
