A night out with the girls, we drove up the hills and looked forward to the unexpected. It was our first time trying a Nepalese cuisine. The restaurant was spacious and big, with plenty of seating perfect for families. Though it wasn't a busy night. Upon arrival, we were served pappadums. We ordered recommended dishes by the staff Mixed Entree Special platter - mainly fried Garlic naan - nice Cheese naan - too oily C4 naan Aloo Bodi Tama, a vegetarian dish - ok Chicken Balti - ok Eggplant masala - nice, a little salty Lemon rice - nice Mango pickle - super super salty Chicken momo- nice We celebrated the night with a cake, no cake corkage. Ambience was lovely and peaceful.

The momos I ordered on uber were smaller size than before. I asked for good quantity of chutney with that when I get quarter of it, and that too added with water with no taste, I used to order before from them but I keep giving them a chance but their food quality has gone far down. Will not be eating here anymore. Poor quality and poor momos very small for $16

Poor quality, Peshawari naans undercooked and butter chicken runny, tasted liked it was cooked in Heinz tomato soup. Coconut prawn curry tasteless. Save your money and make your own 👎

Terrible customer service, long wait times with minimal explanation. We sat waiting for our mains for an hour and a half whilst we saw bags of take away orders go out before receiving any food. From the beginning when we first arrived, there was no one to be seen at the counter to serve us, two people had already been waiting in front of us and eventually rang the bell. When we finally asked for a table for four, we were told sit wherever we like. We got our own wine glasses and waited a significant amount of time before being served menus and water. Their was only about 6 other people in the restaurant at this time. Long wait times continued throughout the night for our orders to be taken and any food to come out. We were told by the one waitress that was working that they didn't expect to be so busy however by this point, there was just one other table of four inside the restaurant. We have been regular customers of Real Mountain as the food is great however the service is continuously lacking. We advised them that this was unacceptable and walked out without being served any food. On the way out, another table also complained that they were having a similar experience. It's such a shame that this business is not well run as the food is good but not good enough to tolerate such bad service. We won't be going back and I would not recommend this...

First of all, I had an extremely awkward encounter with the waiter whom I already knew from High School. I was expecting it to be a nice experience to catch up with my old mate but unfortunately this was not the case, as he spent most of the night staring at my friends and I in silence after taking our orders. I WAS VERY CREEPED OUT! Secondly, we ordered Tandoori Mushrooms and Kebabs for entree which tasted absolutely amazing (I wish we ordered more) but took over an hour to come out of the kitchen on a night where we were the only people in the restaurant. Lastly we ordered our mains which was even worse. It took 2 hours for our mains dishes to come out of the kitchen, I didn't realise the chef had to go and kill the goat before he could cook it up for us. Nevertheless, it tasted absolutely amazing but absolutely not worth the wait. The food was of an extremely high standard so if you have 3 hours of your life to waste on a creepy waiter then you should enjoy this place (sarcasm) . The service and amounts of time it took for the food to arrive was just an abomination of...

Wish I had read the reviews first. Tasteless, oily, food and delivery took 2 hours from ordering until arrival at our house, which is only 2.7km from the restaurant. Do yourself a favour and avoid ordering from here through Uber eats as the restaurant have to wait until they can get a driver in the area. It was not the Uber delivery drivers fault...he was only given the job an hour and fifty minutes AFTER I placed the order. I phoned the restaurant to voice my concerns (complain!) and they blamed the Uber service. They acknowledged this happens often as they can't get drivers in the area when they want them...so why use Uber eats if you know you can't reliably deliver to people in a timely manner!?!?! I could have forgiven getting our meal at 9.15pm if the food was good, but because it sat in a bag waiting for a driver for more than an hour, it was awful..samosas soggy, rice cold, meat cold. Shoulda gone with plan B and had eggs on toast instead of still eating at...
