South African Gourmet — Restaurant in Western Australia

Being new in town and missing my normal supply of jerky (biltong), I had heard this store may be able to help. After walking in and seeing the many, many types of biltong I knew I would be okay. The lady who runs the shop is great, so friendly and helpful in finding the exact style I like. The store has many different flavours, as well as the soft, medium and hard types of biltong. I was even given a sample of their lemon pepper biltong which was delicious. Great little store with so many other condiments and spice rubs etc to keep your home cooking taste whilst in Kalgoorlie, highly recommended...

We had the bunny chow with beef curry, and it was delicious. The lady who served us was kind and made us feel welcome. She told us the best way to eat it and checked up on how we were going. The sides of yoghurt, pickled mango and homemade chutney elevated the dish and compliment the curry well. It was great to find something unique that I hadn't eaten before in kalgoorlie. The only downside is there are only 2 tables, so there isn't much room...

Amazing beef jerky and other amazing products. The people are always friendly and are the kindest people. I would recommend this if you like jerky and other South African meats because it is all absolutely amazing and will put you in heaven the second you even smell what they have...
