The Coffee Club — Restaurant in Western Australia

This is review is purely based on experience today. I have been here many times since it opened for lunch and never had a complaint.

This morning my partner and I came in for breakfast before she went to work.

I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes $11.90 + Large Coffee She ordered Bacon Eggs and Toast $16.90 + Large Coffee

Total was near $40.00.

I am sad to say that the pancakes were awful. Before I even touched them I suspected that they were not homemade as they were microwave steaming hot. I asked the server, who was Lovely and honest. She advised me that they were bought in pancakes and they are re-heated. I expressed my disappointment but advised that I will eat them.

I ended up eating only 2 and they were awful. Another server asked how they were and I advised him they were terrible.

Both servers advised they will tell the boss.

The biggest disappointment was that no manager came to see me. No offer of a discount/refund was offered. So on the back of this experiencing I will only return for coffee, even that may not happen with the amount of coffee...

Went to order eggs Benedict, banana bread and Berry vanilla protein smoothie! The smoothie didn't have protein which I didn't mind, and then they gave me my toasted banana bread and 15min later I was seeing other people after me getting their order, I asked about my eggs Benedict and they forgot, which can happen but not convenient when you have to go back to work. They quickly prepare it and gave it to me in a take away, no bags offered.When I opened the take away box in the car, there were more things missing, nothing like on the picture or what's listed on the menu. I even double check the menu again and went back to get it. And the attitude of one of the girls there was disappointing. She told the chef to just quickly add some cherry tomatoes and a little chives and handed to me without any apologies. They shouldn't charge this much if they are going to give this kind of service! I’m 8 months pregnant and was at home craving bagels and cream cheese, the closest thing on the menu I could tinker with on door dash (I was having an at home preggo day while my son was at school) was quite expensive so I called up and the most wonderful angel of a woman helped me find something closer to the price of plain cream cheese bagels and helped me put my order through with special instructions so I could fulfill my craving! She was so lovely about it! And made me feel a lot less silly about my order! She was accomodating and such a pleasure to talk to! My bagels are now on their way and I couldn’t be more amazed at how above and beyond the service I got was!! To the angel who assisted me - you have made a pregnant lady extremely happy and I will be recommending you guys to everyone! This is what great service looks like! You deserve a raise and then some!...
