From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this restaurant was something special. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with beautiful decor. The staff was incredibly welcoming, offering prompt and attentive service. They were more than happy to explain the menu and suggest dishes based on our preferences. We started with the Samosa Chaat, a delightful burst of flavors with crispy samosas, tangy chutneys, and a perfect blend of spices. It was a great way to begin the meal.
For the main course, we tried the malai kofta and the Paneer Tikka Masala, both cooked to perfection. The Malai kofta had a rich, creamy texture the paneer tikka masala was a vegetarian delight — tender paneer with a flavorful, aromatic gravy that had just the perfect balance of heat and sweetness.
We also ordered Garlic Naan and steamed Rice, which paired wonderfully with the curries. The naan was soft and pillowy with a subtle garlic flavor that was delicious without overpowering the other dishes. The rice was fragrant and light, a perfect complement to the bold flavors of the curries.

Read moreWe went here just before Christmas, new to the area and was very excited as we love Indian food. Service was good, but the food was terrible. Our entree was meant to be a potato dish but however only came with ONE baby potato and the rest was mint sauce, I may add the sauce was delicious, but was just a plate of sauce. We also got the popcorn chicken which tasted nice but was chewy. For our mains, we got the butter chicken which tasted like jarred simmer sauce. We got a fish curry, and the fish was inedible, rock hard and as fishy as you could get unfortunately. Throughout the night we were the only people in the restaurant and we heard the microwave go off multiple times which was a big turn off. Again service was great but the food standards are pretty shocking. We also paid $6 each for a tiny glass of our the bottle FLAT coke, we didn’t even get the can to go with? So half ice half flat coke. I hope the owners consider our feedback and improve in future, as this place does have a lot...
Read moreWent to The Tandoori Bistro for the first time tonight. The restaurant and seating was immaculate and the staff were helpful and courteous. We had the Tandoori Lamb Chops, Chicken Tikka, steamed rice, Chilli Garlic Naan ,Goat Curry and finished our meal off with the very refreshing Mango Lassi drink. Firstly the prices were very reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious. I am a chef and very fussy but this restaurant is now my favourite. Located on Great Northern Highway it was a 5 minute drive from our home in Upper Swan. I advise everyone to have a meal there and support our local small business, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Thankyou for our beautiful meal tonight and you will be seeing a lot of us for return meals.Anyone who is not happy with food or prices doesn't enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Great food Chef and wonderful warm welcoming...
