Vi Pa — Restaurant in Western Australia

This is my first ever bad review of anywhere. I’ve ordered takeaway from ViPa many times. The food is delicious, but the reason I stopped ordering from here is because the take away serving containers are always half full and very stingy in the meat. Their massaman curry for example comes in a small container and just over half full with 2 pieces of beef in it. It is such a rip of $ wise, but tonight I thought I’d see if maybe they’ve changed this. After reading a recent review stating the same thing about take away portion sizes, I stupidly ordered from them anyway. Low and behold the container (which is very small now, is not even full yet again. It’s so disappointing Because the food Is delicious but they are just so stingy in the serving size and you don’t realise this until you get home. I’m not sure about dine in portions, but take away is so bad for the price...

Hi, Tonight I arrived at around 6.35 pm for a take away order, the restaurant seemed busy and was not surprised to be asked to wait 35 minutes for it to be ready. I came back a little early and was told that we were awaiting the stir fry, cool, watched as table orders were taken and 30 minutes later after watching one customer ask for a refund because "1 hour was a joke" and then seeing all orders at the tables served after ordering 40 to 45 minutes after my order I had to question where was my meals? I mentioned to the counter staff that I loved there food but would not be back, after eating the meal my review has not changed, great food but I will not be back. I was there during Covid and seeing no-one in the restaurant and still supported them but now the take away people don't seem to be of concern, thanks for the food but I find another place to...

Came here during dinner service and it was a full house. They only had one server at the front and the kitchen was doing its best to keep up with the orders. Had to place our order through the front counter as it was busy.

It is BYO so used the time after we placed our order to go to the bottle shop to get some white wine. By the time we got back from the bottle shop the food was starting to come out. Which was quite impressive as due to being so packed thought the food would take ages which it didn’t.

The food was yummy but some of the food we tasted it was made hastily. In the end they had to pump out the food due to them being busy. Their dessert was real good and enjoyed the cubed mango sticky rice. Would love to come back when not so packed to taste their food when they are...
