Order takeaway via Menulog. It arrived early. That is as a plus I guess if I was home to eat it. Ordered Chefs special fried rice and satay chicken. The fried rice was just rice besides one bit of pork, three small bits of chicken and three shrimps. Nothing else. Quite bizarre. Fairly underwhelming. The satay chicken had there been slightly more chicken than pineapple would have been one of the best I have eaten.

My family owns this restaurant; I’m 10, my first time here was when I was a baby. I love the cooking, say hi to Jordan and Naomi :) (Jordan is my uncle, Naomi is his GF) Staff very friendly, kitchen ✨clean✨ I’ve personally seen it myself! 🥳 I would recommend, love the tofu.. 10/10 EXPERIENCEEEEEE! -Hailey 2025 💕

I've had better Chinese food so I'll give him a 1 stars,, I was disappointed with their sweet and sour pork as it was separated the pork in a paper bag which was a bit cold and the sauce not thick ( watery ) with a peice of pinapple amd a peice of capsicum only, which was in a container which we had to mix together. That's not how sweet and sour pork should be served ( never have i been serived my favourite dish sweet and sour pork that way ever)

The fried rice with dry and tasteless.

The san choy bow was was actually perfect that was probably the only dish that I actually enjoyed out of my delivery.

They do their own home delivery, even tho i had ordered it through menulog. The delivery guy was nice and friendly, I had place the order in advance to be delivered at a certain time so everyone will be home before it was delivered, but they cooked it up before my requested time for the delivery. So by the time it had arrived everyone else was not at home, so i had to reheat it in the microwave oven.

I do not I recommend this place to anyone nor will I be ordering it again online ...

First visit to village Chinese. On arriving to collect our take away staff or owners child was removing pants and nappy in restaurant eating area. Special fried rice more like gluggy steamed rice. Satay beef although the nut was rather textured it was sweet without the usual spice to every other satay I have had elsewhere. Honey chicken had lots of sloppy honey in bottom of the container. These three i would not recommend at all. Beef black bean bland. Singapore noodles I have not had these before very gingery chow mein overload of garlic very very small amount of chicken. Sweet and sour pork I’m sure it’s impossible to not do a decent job of this. $180 for 6 different dishes extremely small half filled take away containers. Will not be going here again nor ever recommend village...

4 of us booked a table here last minute lastnight as a goodbye dinner for a friend. Never been here prior, the food was AMAZING! Small restaurant with limited seating but undoubtedly the best Chinese I’ve ever had! Food was made quick, delicious and well priced! We traveled 45min from NOR to eat here and definitely worth it.

I always get sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, this restaurant makes it best! Will definitely be...
