I ran into Walliston deli (Wallyâs deli) at 2:45pm yesterday hoping for some lunch but there was no hot food available even though they didnât close til 4pm according to their website. Because of the lack of hot food, I decided to purchase a chicken and salad roll from the fridge. I took the roll to the counter and for one chicken and salad roll was $14.40- this to me is an astronomical price for a chicken and salad roll that was dry, flavourless and just had the standard lettuce,tomato and carrot, cheese and a cold hard slab of crumbed chicken in the middle that was so hard I struggled to bite through it.
