I ran into Walliston deli (Wally’s deli) at 2:45pm yesterday hoping for some lunch but there was no hot food available even though they didn’t close til 4pm according to their website. Because of the lack of hot food, I decided to purchase a chicken and salad roll from the fridge. I took the roll to the counter and for one chicken and salad roll was $14.40- this to me is an astronomical price for a chicken and salad roll that was dry, flavourless and just had the standard lettuce, tomato and carrot, cheese and a cold hard slab of crumbed chicken in the middle that was so hard I struggled to bite through it. I have been here quite a few times and it’s always been pricey however I have been willing to pay occasionally if I was hungry and in a hurry. However this was probably the final straw for me as it was flavourless, cost a fortune and I ended up throwing the majority out.

This is one of the best burger places in Perth. Still going strong after years. Nothing fancy, no magic new-fandangled spread or gimmick. Just a quality patty in a horseshoe bun. The magic comes from it just being done right. I'm partial to the Monty myself and after probably 10 years of eating them, I still go back again and again.

Come here when you want a REAL burger. The wally burger is staple to try when you pass through the area. So good, you may need a takeaway container.

I came past here yesterday at 1.30pm and thought I'd try some lunch as my partner always raved about how good this place was when he was younger. I think it must have changed drastically since then. No hot food (it was lunch time!) except one beef and gravy roll and a chicken tender. So I bought the roll. Charged $14 for an old soggy and tasteless roll. Which mostly went in the bin it was so disgusting. Won't be back, so expensive for gross...

Used to be a good deli for a passing burger. Called in at 7.45 to pick up egg and bacon roll from the food warmer and 600ml small coke. Roll was hard, tasted and looked like it had been cooked the night before, $14 for these two items was ridiculous. If they are wanting the passing tradie business they won't get them with these prices and quality of...
