So disappointed! Ordered a classic burrito through drive in, paid an extra 50 cents for the jalapeño and there was not even one jalapeño in it. There is barely even any sauce, and this is not the first time the same thing has happened.
Since Google doesn’t allow multiple reviews, I’m leaving this here regarding my experience on the 28th of May. I also emailed about this issue but haven’t received a response. Unfortunately, it’s not the first time I’ve had problems with Zambrero Canning Vale’s drive-thru service.
I placed an order for two burritos around 9:30 pm. It wasn’t busy — no cars behind us in the drive-thru. Regular chicken burrito, all toppings, Chipotle and red chilli sauce. Regular chicken burrito, all toppings except onions and tomatoes, Chipotle and red chilli sauce.
When we got home, both burritos had onions and tomatoes. I understand a little might mix in with the corn salsa, but this was filled with onions and tomatoes. The staff marked one with a sticker claiming it had no onions and tomatoes — but it was nothing but onions and tomatoes inside. There were no jalapeños either, even though we specially asked for them. To make it worse, both the burrito barely had any chicken at all.
This has happened multiple times, and although we’ve tried to overlook it in the past, it’s unacceptable for this to keep happening. I understand mistakes happen occasionally, especially at the end of the day, but not consistently.

Read moreI ordered 3 burritos through the app last night. I placed the order at 6:53pm and was given a pick up time of 7:07pm. I was a bit early but went through the drive thru at 7:05pm to pick up my order. I waited at the speaker box for a bit over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. The quality of the speak box was terrible, I couldn’t hear them and I’m fairly sure they couldn’t hear me. I pulled up to the window and again there was no one there to greet or acknowledge me. I waited another couple of minutes before a girl passed me a bag. As I started driving off I realised the bag was too light and there was only one burrito in the bag. I pulled into a parking spot in front of the store and saw a different name on the bag. They had given me someone else’s order. I left my 10 year old in the car and went into the store thinking I’d just get my order and by on my way. Gave the girl the bag for someone else and told her my name. She went out the back and came back to ask for the order number. I gave it her and realised my order hadn’t even been started. I asked another girl to just cancel my order because at this point it was nearly 7:20 and my order was supposed to be ready at 7:07. But the other girl had literally just started so I waited another 10 minutes or so for my order to finally be made, all the while my daughter was in the car. I have taken somewhile to write this review, as I was gathering some information to understand the changes to Zambrero Canningvale. I now understand there is a new owner who is a middle aged lady who I have not seen working on the floor before. Being the owner, she has the worst people skills and am totally concerned about how the staff are treated here. The manner to which she spoke to the staff aggressively in front of customers is absolutely disgusting and fear a future claim of bullying and harrasment will be in play for her. This review is to make sure she reads this and gets appropriate training to understand Fair work Place and what Bullying and Harrasment entails in the work space. This is also to make sure the staff and parents who allow their children to work here get educated on the above. I suggest Zambrero to develop a training so that leaders of the business and staff need to complete a Fair workplace module so that there is education around this.
