Eureka BBQ Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Wilson

It's my first time to this restaurant. 14 of us for lunch. I hear myself saying "ohh...this is good." And then another dish comes "ohh...this is not bad". It went on and on. 😂. There's a few dishes I particularly liked. The roast duck. It has to be pre ordered and it was well worth it! Very tasty on its own without the separate sauce condiment. Then there is the dish which was black in colour laced with sesame seeds. It feels like Mongolian style of cooking of pork but not quite. I forgot what it was. But that was exceptionally good. There is a two styled fish - deep fried and stir fried. That was aud128! I do not think this dish is necessary. The taste of it is ok. But not exceptional. Even the simple stir fried broccoli was delicious. However worth mentioning the tofu with minced pork was somewhat not well received. Even the kids. Must be the gravy too starchy and the taste didn't quite hit right. The place is not big. But carers for big crowd. Three big tables and maybe about 2 small tables. Can be cramped but sizeable to walk through. I would definitely return and order the same duck and ala...

We reached there at 6.25pm on a Saturday evening and was told table might be available at 7.30pm but no guarantee. We decided to pack the food back instead. The server who took orders was new, I ordered fried rice and she wrote white rice instead. Thankfully I checked when the food were ready

NOTE: Please get your receipt! After making payment, the cashier came and said she undercharged me AUD10 as she calculated incorrectly and her boss scolded her, I did not think much and I paid her. When I collected the food, due to the wrong order written, she said I needed to top up another AUD10 for the fried rice. I asked her to offset the white rice which I paid and how much balance do I need to pay for the fried rice? She replied AUD9. So she gave me back a dollar change or else she wouldn’t.

No receipt breakdown was given and I regretted not getting 1 and for not calculating the dishes on the spot. Total for these dishes were...

The food was great. As great as always but the service was awful. Food came out fast, actually all the food came out already but rice, they said, have to wait 5 minutes more while we're looking at our $128 2-way-fish going cold as it came out the first dish.

We asked the waitress for some water as we didn't see any signage for self service on the fridge. Then she came out of she seat, stood right in front of the very fridge, gestured her hand to it and told us to get it ourselves. Immediately after she returned to her seat and got back on to her mobile phone screen.
