Mr So Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Wilton

We had a wonderful dining experience at Mr So Chinese Restaurant in Wilton, thanks to our amazing waitress, Ainsley. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after – not just for me and my husband, but especially for our two young boys.

Ainsley’s thoughtful gesture of offering to cover our two-year-old’s cup with cling wrap (since he’s still learning to drink from a straw) really stood out to us. It’s rare to see that level of care and attention to detail, and it made a big difference to our night out.

Been here the last two Saturday nights and I’ve loved it both times. Had the salt and pepper prawns which were fresh, not too battered and seasoned well san Choi bow was flavourful and not too overpowered with ginger or sauce. The chilli chicken last week was delicious. The chilli prawns were fresh, large prawns with a light tasty flavour. Only critique is that the restaurant could do with a slightly bigger serving size. Ordered Braised Beef with stir fry vegetables and fried rice, quite awhile ago. The Braised Beef tasted like it was stale. I did not order for quite some time but after a month, because it’s the only Chinese take away in Wilton, decided to try again but unfortunately again the Beef was stale.
