A nice spot that definitely felt like it was designed for locals and had that lovely community feel.

The food was good and was well priced. Fairly standard Australian breakfast / brunch food, but what we had was done well so no complaints there.

Coffee was also good, with decent latte art too. Nothing too strong, but I guess that's the only Cafe in town playing it safe, which is understandable.

The outside seating in the sunshine looked gorgeous, and had it been a little warmer we would have been sat out there. Unfortunately we had to sit inside instead, where the place was a little tired, but not too bad. The wooden tables and chairs had the feel of an old pub rather than a modern cafe, but perhaps that's what they're going for?

The menus are in dire need of replacement, and our table wasn't clean when we sat down. There were also a bunch of somewhat aggressive signs dotted round the place, some telling you to self serve certain amenities, others telling you explicitly not to self serve things, which was a little odd. All minor gripes, but just enough to knock a star off.

Highchairs were available and parking was just around the corner. It also looked like there was a play area on site, but all the "beware of the snakes" signs gave us enough reason not to try it!

Overall a nice spot, and if we lived locally I'm sure we'd be regulars, but I'd definitely like to see a few (very minor) changes to make this...

Today we booked for 15 people for breakfast. We all arrived at different times so we didn’t all order at the same time. When I arrived I was told that there was a wait time for food. This was 8:30am. Drinks arrived 40 minutes after we ordered however people who arrived after us were being served their drinks before us. My husband got his hot chocolate but I had to wait another 15 minutes for my coffee. My food order was delivered 1 1/2 hours after I ordered however I watched others receive their orders before me even though they arrived a good half hour after me. I asked the manager twice for my breakfast order and all she said was they were slammed- there wasn’t that many customers in the cafe but a few take away orders. I had to ask the manager for an apology ( really!!!) and explained that as a group we were looking to make Teas and Green our go to for our Friday breakfast. No Way will we ever go there again. Service was abominable and the food and drinks were not hot by the time we got them. The late serving also meant that we all were late for our next catch up with others that...

My girlfriend had lunch here, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Quite accessible in the middle of town, with nice gardens to look out over while eating - either indoors or out.

The food was of good quality - I ordered a B&E roll and a milkshake (my regular for testing cafes) and both were good, not especially outstanding but still quite good. My girlfriend got the Caesar salad with chicken and a small cap, and remarked that the coffee was pretty good, and the Cesar salad had a good ratio of leaf to other.

Wait staff were friendly, and it seemed like we beat the lunch wave but food didn't come particularly quickly so I imagine that it's not always very speedy.

Overall, good experience, would...

In a small town like Wilton this cafe seems to cater a large variety of food from toasted sandwiches to pad see ew and crazy milkshakes. The Smashed avocado and melted bocconcini was a bit overtoasted especially with the avocado on it and it was hot to eat. I think it would have tasted better if the avocado was not toasted or at least not as hot but the bocconcini can remain toasted so it melts. The pad see ew was quite nice to eat and the chocolate crazy shake was a nice treat. If the few cafes in town this one is probably your go to one if needing to stop by. At the back is a nice area to play golf and enjoy the scenery of the lake too. Regards @fooderarri

FREE: Insect with my meal!!! 🤮 Honestly apart from the cockroach looking bug in my warm lamb salad, I really liked the atmosphere and the menu and reasonably priced. Just couldn’t get past the cockroach LOL. Lucky I didn’t get sick, and to be honest if she refunded my whole bill which was only $50 I may not even have posted this review as accidents happen, but they only refunded me $22 for my salad. So poor reviews happen! Edit post response: If I was compensated for the bill instead of just refunded a small portion, I would have not posted the review all together. But your lack of sincere apologies continues even on here so the review remains :)
