We were heading out to Beech Forest for the day and decided to stop by for a break. We ordered a flat white, hot chocolate, golden latte and a vegan prana chai latte. I specifically pointed to each item on the menu. When's the order came, we were given a non vegan chai latte instead. I took it back and mentioned that I had ordered a vegan prana chai latte but was given a normal chai latte. What happened after took me by surprise. The staff simply told me I had ordered the wrong item and if I wanted the Vegan prana, I will need to order and pay for a new drink. Simple as that. Most proper place with trained staff would apologise and make a replacement. The staff assumed I did not know I wanted vegan and assumed I had not pointed to the vegan choice on the menu. My daughter is vegan so we ended up returning the entire drink to the shop as she has not had dairy for over 5 years now and the havoc this will do to her system. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my 50 plus years. Not going back again and will make sure everyone...

Came to this place during the Great Ocean Road Tour held by Hittheroad. The small restaurant has a few outdoor dining tables. Appeared to be popular in neighbourhood and among tours. It took some time for the kitchen to get toasts and sandwiches ready, while pastries would be ready right away.

Ordered a hoot break toastie and a large long black. Can choose between white bread or multigrain bread. The toast had grilled the bread to offer a crispy outer. There were fried egg, tomato, lettuces, avocado and pan-fried bacon. The portion was massive. The veggies and avocado were so fresh and churchy to have. The friend egg and bacon added protein to the breakfast. The whole combination offered flourishing textures and flavours that definitely light up my day.

The long black was order-to-make. Coffee beans were definitely the up to bar ones that it was smooth to drink, but not much special flavour or aftertaste.

Total $22.35. Good shop for grab-and-go. The service was so-so to be honest. But the food quality and size make it...

This afternoon on my way home I dropped in for a Chai Latte to which I am very fussy about. I like my chai brewed strong on almond milk and it was 100% perfect for me. All the food looks delicious but I settled on a snack of an apricot and cashew ball and passionfruit and lemon square also 100% delicious. The ladies serving and making the chai were lovely, I met the owner when I went for squiz inside the house where there is a super cosy dining room for guests to enjoy. I loved the charm of the house and the original doors and windows sills from the 40's. All the food is made on site. Loved it and next time I will make room breakfast or lunch instead of snack and enjoy my surrounds. Well done to the owner and staff. By the way my employment is in hospitality so I know how hard it can be and sometimes thankless. Keep doing what you are doing. Warm...

What a great little set up, just over from park and pool, and just up from the camping reserve, this place was non stop every time we went past, so decided to give it a go before heading home, n did not disappoint, ( sadly I never saw the menu's to side of the entry, didn't realised they do cook to order, one to remember next time) We ordered a latte, hot chocolate and a home made Monte Carlo, it was even better than Arnott's ones.....I so want more......just be prepared for a bit of a wait, you won't regret it....staff are fantastic too....
