Wingello Village Store — Restaurant in Wingello

My fiancée and I stopped here for lunch on our way down south and were welcomed with a delightful and cheery store. With so much character and a real village store vibe.

The food was delicious! We had the schnitzel and standard burger and enjoyed some steak fries between us. The burgers were hot and fresh. The beef patty was very flavourful and the schnitzel crunchy and juicy. The chips. Yum. As they should be. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, sprinkled with chicken salt.

For a much better feed, in an even better atmosphere, I implore you to go to Wingello...

I came here with my nan, uncle (who are from Brisbane) and niece. The service here was immaculate they were very accommodating and lovely to have a chat with. The food in this places were delicious we got the nuggets and chips, the standard big breakfast, the standard burger and the chicken snitzel burger and each and everyone one of those meals were cooked to perfection. My nan and uncle said they haven’t had such good and well priced food in such a long time and will be coming back....

Very happy to say that there have been great improvements at the Wingello store. The out door seating area is lovely and the best place to be on a cold winters day. The staff are much more confident and very helpful and the bacon and egg rolls are loved by the kids and adults a like.

Coffee can still be a bit hit and miss but more often than not its good - especially if made by James. Well worth stopping at the store if...
