I stayed in Darwin for about two weeks, and this place easily became a staple for my friends and I. Over the course of that time, we came here on three separate occasions including breakfast and lunch. For a cafe, it's pretty standard choices on the menu, but the quality is superb. They use a beautiful old Vittoria espresso machine that made for excellent coffee no matter the style. Personally, I ordered lattes, but others in the group fell in love with their iced coffees.
As for food, I chose their Bacon and Egg roll and added cheese. In addition to the aforementioned ingredients, the sandwich included some sort of jam which added a nice sweet touch to a very savory meal. Another popular item among us was the Breakfast Roti which was more of a traditional breakfast with flatbread included served in a bowl. Several others opted to get leg ham sandwiches to go for lunch.
Service was very friendly. They seemed very busy during the morning hours especially on weekends, so parking can be a challenge even with a private lot. With that being said, the kitchen was never slow on any of the occasions we visited.
I loved the vibe of the place. It was very open with some large tables making it excellent for groups. I loved that they also sold some souvenirs there making it easy to pick up a trinket for friends and family back home.

I think my colleagues were jealous of my salmon, avo, omelette, and salad on sourdough bread. It was laaa-vaaaa-leeee!! Hehe! Awesome customer service, friendly staff, and table service, but you order at the counter. Decent price wasn't busy when we arrived, and food came out quite quickly. Music playing in the background, not over whelming, could still hear the conversation at the table but definitely set a good vibe. I liked this place, and I will be back again . I will say...
Read moreLove this place, it has to be one of the best I have seen in Darwin. The food is great. Take a look at the Facebook page to see pictures that show the quality of the food and the presentation. The woman that runs the place seems to be an excellent pastry chef and has an inherent creative streak and understanding of food. This also extends to her comments and descriptions on the Facebook page as well. One of the things I did notice was what seemed to be real avocado on toast and not the ubiquitous "smashed" nonsense that the millennials seem to inhale...
