Was passing through town and noticed it nearly by mistake. We walked in just to have a peak. Ended up loving the menu options and stayed for brunch. The smashed avo is sublime! You have to try it. The citrus comes through so beautifully. It's the best Avo and Toast we've had in Australia (and we've been on a mission to try them all) ((2nd best that we've tried internationally)) We also had the special which was chicken and carrot curry. It was sweet and rich in flavour. The inside is so cute and has a great fire place to sit around in winter. We opted for outside. There's a table on the side with honeysuckle all around it. What a lovely surprise of a place! The place has a really nice courtyard facing the road, but secluded. Went there on Saturday morning, it was busy but not overly busy. Had a really nice local vibe to it, with a mix of residents and travellers. Lots of food options, I had the breakfast burrito where the main ingredient was corn, interesting burrito but delicious nonetheless. Really nice coffee. Stayed there for a a good hour. The place is out of town but if you're staying nearby it'll be one of the few options for meals and drinks. Safe to say that whenever I stay in the area that's where I'd get my coffee from. Well it hasn’t changed - update for 9 Feb 2025 - this time they didn’t put sugar in and then said they can’t bake them because of their mistake… pretty unprofessional. The toastie was disgusting and my mum had to throw up after eating it. This is my earlier review from a couple years ago. Paid $36 for 6 muffins… raspberry white choc drove 2 hours round trip for this and found there was zero white choc in it. And it tasted like bacon. Disgusting. Have tried to call them to resolve...
