This is a back yard operation, it is noticable the place has had council on their back which means your not allowed to have dine in. Milkshakes are old school but so so much sugar, we had a crepe well which was decent to share. These young cafe owners are doing a great job but hopefully they'll be able to put permanent seating arrangements. Worth the detour sure, but be willing to consume your crepe elsewhere.

The owner came and went through the menu with us. A great choice of crepes and you can even build your own - so pick whatever ingredients you would like. Then they offer cream of ice cream. A variety of drinks including fresh juice. Very reasonably priced. They even have a live stream so that you can see them making your crepes. Beautiful presentation. Overall a great place to eat.

Such a great spot for coffee and crepes! Coffee was great and crepes were delicious with so many toppings options. There was a play area for the kids while we waited for our order which was a highlight. It’s takeaway only but plenty of spots to sit in the garden or at the playground close by. We highly recommend!

We discovered Saltie Dog – Coffee and Crepes last year during our lap around Australia, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. My wife and I still talk about it — it genuinely stood out as one of the best breakfast experiences of the entire lap.

We originally planned to stop in once, but ended up going back multiple times during our short stay because everything was just that good. We taste-tested a fair bit of the menu, and every single dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The coffee was consistently amazing, and the crepes were some of the best we've ever had.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home each time. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favour and stop in — it’s absolutely worth it. We’d go back in...

Today, I had the pleasure of discovering a local coffee and crepes establishment in the historic community of Coledale.

I was quite impressed with the atmosphere and the quality of the food and beverages.

I would also like to commend the owner, Mr. Leigh, for the warm welcome he extended to all the guests.

A special acknowledgment is also due to the young waiter, Francisco, who went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and consistently checked on us. His friendly and genuine demeanor contributed to a truly enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you, Saltie Dog -...

A great little cafe with delicious foods, welcoming staff and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Our crepes were tasty and filling, coffee and chai really good. Got chatting with Leigh, the owner. It’s very evident in the way he holds conversations that he and his staff are really proud of what they do there, and it flows into the whole vibe of the place. They have little community events in the cafe, which fills to overflowing, judging by the photos and videos from them. It’s become a regular spot for us to stop when we’re visiting, definitely...
