Sunny Sushi — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

The worst take away shop I have ever been to. We ordered three Seafood Udons, Chilli Chicken and some Sushi only to find one of the Udons had a fruit fly inside. I took it back and asked for another one and had kept my eyes on them to make sure they did not just serve me the same one without the fruit fly inside as I saw them take out the fruit fly from the bowl with a spoon. While keeping an eye on them, i noticed the chef using his hand to eat something in the kitchen twice and using the same hands to cook without even washing his hands. At times like these, its totally unacceptable and they did not even offer me a refund as I walked away. Totally disguisting, no practice of hygiene and the chef had the mask but was only on one of his ears and hanging low. Please stay...

The food is great but the staff rather dont speak enough english to even understand a simple request or are too lazy to listen. I ordered a meal plus extra finger food and they wouldn't/couldn't understand what I was trying to tell them. Both my mother and I clearly explained what I ordered but the staff just did not get it. We ended up having to get food they wouldnt serve us from the chinese takeout shop next to them. While we sat down and finished our meal the staff at tokyo sushi glared at us.

I have been going to Sunny's for years and years now. The bench mark of my sushi meals are with Sunny's. In the event that I go somewhere else, it's always - 'Is it as good as Sunny's?'.
