Very friendly service and tasty food with combination of Chinese and Thai dishes. The place may need some touch up as the decor seems to be a bit outdated but don’t judge the book by the cover. We were not bothered by that either. We ordered Thai Black Pepper Prawns and Chicken Chow Mein (deep fried egg noodle). The prawn dish had lots of prawns and vegetables. All plates came out real quick too. The lady was so nice and welcoming. Will come back again.

First of all my favourite food on this menu is the Mongolian lamb. It was. A truly unforgettable experience. The Peking chicken was breathtaking and delicious and full of flavour. Thank you Kam tong you have earned my love trust respect but most of all my seal of approval

One sweet and sour pork and one honey chicken. So bland I had to look at the meat inside to tell the difference. Sauces were barely existent and the fried rice was made with a mixed frozen peas corn and carrots diced. I won’t spend my money here again

The wife and I dined at Kam Tong for lunch on Mothers Day. They were super busy but we had our drinks within minutes of being there. Our order was taken and the wait wasn't too long even though they apologised for the wait (we weren't in a hurry anyway). We had the ham and chicken roll for entree, very nice too. Mains were the curry combination for the wife, she loved it. I had the spicy rainbow beef which was also lovely. Despite the owner being run off her feet, she took time to talk to all the guests that were in the restaurant, giving it a very family friendly feel. Prices for the lunch specials were very reasonable, we got out of it for just over $50 which included the half litre wine. We'll definitely be back despite it not being near where we live. It's worth travelling a little for this...

If there was 0 stars they would have got that. Food is terrible here, honey chicken is more like honey soup with battered chicken, sweet & sour pork were deep friend to within an inch of their lives. Waited 10 minutes after being seated to get menus, and then 15 more minutes for one of our party to be given a plate. I'd love to say it was due to being busy but with only ourselves and one other family in there it really isn't an excuse. Anyone in the mood for Chinese, if advise choosing one of the other 1000 options in the illawarra & if you don't drive then use uber eats to get yourself a...

Have been infrequently a customer there for over 20 years. I visited this afternoon and ate in. It was smelly, dim and the person taking the order wasn't either helpful of friendly. The honey chicken and fried rice was both a small serve and not very nice. There are no vegies in the rice and its bland. The service and quality has significantly declined since my last visit a year or so ago. It is with certainty I will not return, that lame excuse for a meal left me feeling like I needed to eat a sandwich or snack afterward, and drinks are way overpriced I should have gone elsewhere...
