Thank you Shezza for your five star review. We are so pleased that you had a memorable experience at our Cellar Door. We are so happy you had such beautiful weather as this really enhances the outdoor terrace gardens. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for a tasting. The views and facilities are amazing! Our server Archie was awesome, very knowledgeable and a lot of fun! We can’t wait to be back with friends soon!

Absolute winner of a winery! Stunning location and stunning wines. Teresa was outstanding with her tasting and made our day! If you are in the hills put this place on your itinerary!

We dined at the new restaurant yesterday....WOW what a sensational experience. Every morsel was an explosion of flavour. The presentation and staff were outstanding. We felt like we were visiting friends. We also had the wine pairing which I highly recommend. I loved being able to see the kitchen from the dining area and the tables were set far enough apart that you had enough privacy to enjoy and relax. I can't recommend the restaurant highly enough. We will...

We recently celebrated my best friend’s 50th at LVN, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had — not just in Sydney, but across all the hatted restaurants we’ve visited in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and beyond.
From the moment we walked in, Max Hong, Chef Jacob and the team made us feel like royalty. Every interaction was warm, knowledgeable, and timed to perfection. Max — your attention to detail and the pride your team takes in their craft did not go unnoticed. You made a special night truly unforgettable.
We’re long-time lovers of degustations, and this menu was simply next-level: The Jerusalem artichoke with native thyme was an earthy, elegant opener. The grilled oyster with fennel flower granita—unexpected and absolutely sublime. The bluefin tuna chu toro with Geraldton wax? Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. And the wallaby with muntries and salt & vinegar warrigal greens — wow. Bold, Aussie, and beautifully balanced.
The desserts were equally jaw-dropping (I’d trade all future birthdays for another round of that banana miso ice cream with Davidson’s plum!).
To the chefs — your artistry, innovation, and ability to showcase native Australian ingredients in such intricate, flavour-forward ways deserves every bit of praise. A true five-star experience in every sense.

Read moreOne of the best food experiences I've had in a while at LVN located in the Bird in Hand Winery. Its up there in my top 5 alongside Michelin starred restaurants. From the very first dish until the last, there was flavour after flavour and some wow moments a long the way. A serving of interesting flavours and textures, fresh ingredients, and innovative dishes, this degustation had it all. Highlights? Pretty much every dish and I could just write down everyone one of them but if I had to decide on one then it had to be the Nannaygai. That fish was just wow! Ok...I also have to mention the Croissant....OMG!!!! It's the best croissant I've ever had....more of that, please!
The decor is simple yet stunning, and as soon as you walk in, you feel a warm and inviting vibe. The artwork on the walls and around the restaurant are beautiful with such interesting stories behind each one. Ask the staff for the notes to which you can read up on the artists and their works.
It really is a great experience. It's casual but elegant. The food is exceptional and the staff are so friendly. They really know how to make your experience a...
