Sit O'Clock Thai Restaurant and Takeaway — Restaurant in Woy Woy

I normally had the foods over there every time I came by after my long trip out of town. I knew the owner of the resturant she was very nice and I never had any issue with the foods. But last Sun I came by from my trip me and my husband decided to stopped by but it was like 2:30pm when the kitchen ready to closed and I rang up to c if they still can do take a way as our usual then I could recognised that the voice wasn’t the usual owner that I spoke to back then. The lady completely different person and how she took our order was very odd. Anyway we went to picked up the foods, the lady wasn’t look very welcome and pleasant at all but we had no issue with that coz we just wanted our foods and get out of there. I had ordered pad thai with chicken and prawn, which I normally never ordered anything with chicken but I decided to try chicken since my husband he ordered pad see awe with beef and prawn as well also we ordered seafoods salad too. Half way of my foods I started to feel funny, my eyes started watering and I started to sneeze so I thought it was a hay fever but straight after I finished my foods (which we normally never finished it) but today we did and I straight feel like something blocked my airwave I couldn’t breath, my eyes couldn’t c, my ears blocked and my face started to get tightened and I felt hot, so I asked my husband did my face gone red and he said yes but I decided to double checked on my phone camera, my got it gone super red like blood 🩸 I told my husband I don’t feel right I’m gonna go to the bathroom (we were at the park not far from the resturant) then I started drain with sweat soak all over my body and face I started to get pain in my abdominal badly and I couldn’t sit still or stand I lose my strength. I thought it was a stomachache but I haven’t had anything at all since my whole trip only toast for our brekkie. God I couldn’t hold longer I started thrown up and all was pad thai it didn’t even digested properly I completely lose all my energy, I was scared and frightened thought I won’t make it to the car, my husband came and checked to c if I’m ok and I couldn’t walk so he grabbed me out and he called ambulance straight away coz I wasn’t quite 100% awake and my body shaking also my heart beat so fast and the pain in my abdominal only get worse. I was unsettle and we got an hour and 40 mins till we get to syd. I really thought I wasn’t going to make it home at all 🥺🥺. Ambulance came after 20 mins and they assessed me as a foods poison from all the symptoms and I knew myself coz nothing else came out beside pad thai that I just ate. I sweated to god I never had anything like this happened to me in life and it scared me so bad. I couldn’t breath. I don’t know what u guys put in the foods or how u handled it but if anyone else ate those foods and get sick like this, it wouldn’t be a good thing at all. This’s completely scary and an unacceptable. You should checked on ur foods and the person who cooked the foods properly or else I’d sued u for what happened coz this can’t keep happened to anyone else like this. Just had dinner again at our local Thai restaurant Sit O'clock, food still pretty good albeit like everything else the prices have gone up considerably which is not really an issue. We arrived there early evening\late afternoon and found the main part of the restaurant absolutely swamped by flies, there was flies everywhere and all over the tables and windows, we asked the person on the counter if she could spray the flies and she said they can't do that once the restaurant is open(why didn't they spray the flies BEFORE the restaurant opened?) she did offer us another table at the far end of the restaurant but the flies were also there just not as many. Very disappointing because the place was never like that and we had a number of very nice dinners there, sadly I'll have to report the restaurant to the health department next week. Hope they can lift their game and do something about the flies otherwise we won't be...

We love this restaurant. We ordered 5 different dishes and all of them were delicious. Their portions were quite generous. We could have 2 meals out of these 5 dishes for a family of 4, which is really nice. We ordered takeaway. It took about 20 minutes to cook, and the food came out nicely done. The restaurant is spacious with a lot of seating inside, outside, by the bar looking out at the street. There is a nice garden which has many cute kids' toys to occupy the little ones if you decide to eat there. They also have coffees and desserts (bothe Western and traditional Thai options). Overall, I think this restaurant is amazing to dine in or takeaway. I highly recommend. I'm sorry there is no food photos because we were so hungry so taking photos of food was not...
