Scoops Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Wulguru

They were the best dam fish and chips I've had in a hell of a long time, real Aussie family, they cooked the fish to perfection and the chips where hot and crispy as well and they and a happy country style people and listens to there customers and when a customer asks for salt, they put on salt the real salt not this chicken salt crap . The fish and half size chips, the 6 calamari and 2 crab sticks , there was so much food I had a lot left over as it came to $26.00 and was worth every cent it was. For a real Aussie family fish and chips shop this is the place to go to , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for buying a good old fashioned fish and chips meal and it was all at a very reasonable price for the amount of food you get there ,in fact I brought it at lunchtime, drive to Charters Towers, fell asleep woke up at 5pm still full from my lunch...

Dunno what the foods like to be honest i just recently moved into the area an thought id call an get some fish n chips after a long day at work an didn't feel like cooking as it was 7pm so i tried calling over and over again to place an order but the line was busy for 45 mins of non stop calling so with only 15 mins till the shop closed I was convinced they have just taken the phone off the hook which if is the case I'm appalled an shocked how they can operate an if this is the standard for ordering I'd hate to see the cooking and customer service so its sandwich for dinner yay thanks so much scoops...........great start to a finish I will just order pizza...

Tried the super burger today and WOW!!!!, a proper old fashioned burger with everything and then more, absolutely beautiful, bought a piece of thick and juicy battered mackerel and scoop of chips as well, looks as delicious as always but could'nt fit it in. The fish & chips and now the burgers are absolutely the best I've had anywhere in Queensland! See you...
