Yamba Cafe Marina — Restaurant in Yamba

The service was a little slow, and the coffee wasn’t great at all. We asked for 2 skinny flat whites and a hot chocolate. The service took a few minutes, but we got our drinks. Now, for all those coffee experts, correct me if I’m wrong, but a skinny flat white should not be a coffee and froth where there’s MORE froth than actual coffee. Both were like this. We took it back to find the lady telling us “just put it there, I’ll sort it later.” We said we didnt want another, but she insisted. Not even an apology. Do not come here if you’re looking for a good quick coffee. They might get your order wrong and take HALF AN HOUR to make 3 drinks. The view is alright though. But overall, I would NOT recommend...

Lunch for 8 with friends on Sunday. The place was pretty busy and the weather was typical Yamba with rain on and off. We all ordered our meals and waited just over an hour for our mains. The majority ordered a seafood basket which was a bit light on for the price. It was presented well but one of our guests had to ask for prawns as they omitted them. I have had coffee in hundreds of places in many countries and not all good so, to give a 1 star review means it was really bad. And not just the coffee! service was appalling. I was given 1/2 cup of froth for a flat white with the wrong milk and no apology. Waited 30 minutes for that then another 15 in a queue to pay for the rest of the order. Even then they got that amount wrong overcharging me with again no apology. 1 star is too generous but...
