Initial review - Ordered 6 hash browns and a ham and cheese croissant take away. 25 minutes later I receive a free coffee card saying sorry for the wait before I had even said anything. 2 minutes later I saw they were only just cooking my hash browns. Only got 5 (ordered 6) I wish I could say this was the first time Iâve waited a long time for only a couple things, and my house mates have the same experience. I would understand if it was busy- but majority of the time it isnât. Itâs more frustrating to see multiple people go in and out with their coffees while you wait so long. Many times I have ordered similar things, waited similar times only having to ask if theyâre still coming - and when I finally ask the second time is when they magically appear. The staff are okay, itâs just very very slow. It is not somewhere you grab a quick take away from. Coffee is quick, food is slow - always.
response to owner - as they turned their responses off. I ordered 3 serves of hash browns. Prior to ordering I got told hash browns come in serves of 2, totalling six hash browns. I only received 5. So yes your receipt would have said 3 serves. You werenât being generous with â2 extra hash brownsâ I paid for each one of them and you missed one. Also, I am aware you may have two teams. However once your coffee team has made the coffees and are just standing there, it would take them 30 seconds to toast a crossaint and I know you donât need qualifications to do that. Iâm sure itâll would also help out your kitchen in such âbusy timesâ.
Your food team needs updating or more training as it is always slow - especially the young bloke seems to move in slow motion or is happy just having a chat to his colleagues instead. Regardless of whether or not you have one customer in your store or if it is full to the brim, your food is always slow. It takes me Less time to drive 15 minutes to another cafe and 15 minutes back to get quicker food then walking one minute down the road to ordering food from your cafe. How you justify nearly 30 minutes for 5 hash browns and one croissant that is already pre made is beyond me. Again - this isnât the first time, it happens every time. I have physically seen customers order while I waited and then leave because they couldnât wait any longer.
Your customers would prefer fresh cooked food as you stated, but more importantly they would appreciate you take a look at how your team operates to see if there is areas of improvement just like any other...
Read moreAs a soon to be new local to Yanchep once our house is built we decided to come and check out what the local cafe has to offer. For $76 we got 2x big breakfast (with added bacon/sausage & hollondaise) 2x milkshakes and an iced coffee.
First disappointing factor is there are no kids options on the menu- first time I have come across this so I decided to share a big breakfast with my daughter. Second disappointment was when I ordered sausage from the add on breakfast menu to add to my meal chorizo came on the plate - if that's what is being served then chorizo should be on the menu not sausage it was too spicy for either of us to eat.
Third disappointment was the hollandaise also ordered as an extra came out barely warm and congealed it was disgusting. And last but not least the forth disappointment was the complete deflation felt when you picked up the piece of ciabatta toast off the top of the plate which is secretly concealing the tiny portion of scrambled eggs beneath it.
When I'm left feeling I should have just gone to dome because at least you know what you are getting and actually feel like you get what you pay for I'm left dissatisfied and know that I will never return to that business again. I don't know how there is such a high star rating - This is what attracted us to give...
Read moreWhat can I say. I suppose I'll start from the top, walk in on Burger Night (Friday) keen on ordering a burger with the wife. The wife likes the look of the Gangnum style (Chicken) and I was pretty keen on the Smokey Joe (Beef).
The female staff member that served us was ultra polite and when my wife asked whether the sauce on her burger was hot or not, rather then describe it she went and got some sauce to try. Two thumbs up. They took our order and within 10 minutes had it packed and we were on our way home.
Now as for the burgers, lordy were they good. It's become somewhat of an adventure trying different burger places for me and Lil'Sistas is currently sitting at the tipsy top of the mountain for me.
All I'm all, fantastic polite service, food was cooked quick, perfectly and fresh. Food was as tasty as you would expect if some sort of divine being had invented, cooked and prepared the food.
11/10 will be back as a...
