G'day Japanese & Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Yangebup

In response to the owner. My dish came out first and when my partners dish came out I told the server the dish was very spicy and not mild like she said. The server then said would you like another dish and therefore before anyone tasted my partner dish I said I’ll have the same. That’s why I ordered the same dish and was charged for 2 dishes even when the server suggested it.

Foods gone down hill and service is worse than before. Service has never been the best with the two female servers looking like they are forced to work there by their parent. Never smiles. Don’t understand the food so can’t answer questions. Food is terrible, beef was bad quality. I think the cheapest chewy meat. Had the Bulgogi and the beef was all clumped together like the cook couldn’t be bothered cooking it properly and the sauce was so sweet watered down sauce. It’s like they cutting back on quality and ingredients. It was like eating sweet unflavoured chewy beef. The spicy dishes they just put powdered chilli in it. Like a table spoon of chilli powder so the soup had no flavour just water and after your mouth just burned. I use to go at least once a month and then got 8 months ago it started going down hill. I gave it another try today but never again. Food gone terrible and takes ages to come out. Why have only one cook who can’t keep up with orders and then send out poorly made food. You can’t cut corners on quality and sauces is what makes korean food tasty. This place...

My partner and I discovered this little gem yesterday and it was so good we are back again tonight! Their food is better than many other restaurants I've tried but for half the price. Amazing value for money. We tried their bulgolgi, gyoza, and spicy pork dishes last night and it was simply amazing. The bugolgi was fresh and full of flavour, the gyoza was perfectly light and crispy, and the pork was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. Tonight we got another bulgolgi dish (we couldn't resist!) and the spicy fried chicken. The portions were generous and so tasty. The chicken was juicy and saucy yet crunchy. The staff were also very friendly and the service was great. We left this little restaurant feeling so happy and satisfied with our meal. I'm excited to come back and try...

I rarely write reviews but yesterday’s service was worth a mention. The food is nice and tasty however we were put off by the service of the counter staff that had a scowl on her face and was very dismissive when we placed our order. It left a very unpleasant feeling with our group before we even had dinner. And when we were served our first meal, the service person told us to keep our voices down as we were too loud and the place is small. But when the next group came in and they were a group of 4 and from the start, were very loud with ordering and talking but they did not get the same treatment we did, really left a bad impression and we ended up finishing our meals and leaving even though everyone said they were still hungry.
