The newly built KFC in Ansfelden would be a great eating place with better prepared staff both behind the counter and cleaning. The launch was highly anticipated but the reality after going there with expectations of eating there was quickly dashed when I walked in to find tables uncleaned (5) and the floor at the entrance filled with a sticky substance and tracked foot prints... So I decided to get the food on takeaway.. It could have been just the day and time I went (Sunday afternoon) however the place was not full. There was a line, but more workers behind the counter, someone should have cleaned tables/floor. Place looks nice, wood still has the newness smell... It's small though... I think capacity (table/chair wise) 25-30 in inside, maybe 10 outside... Tables sit comfortably 4 adults. The only menu I saw was on the wall behind the cashier's desk... Problem is it's a changing wall menu and it changes quicker than you can really read and get a good grasp of what you want so it's best stay out of the line and check the menu.. then get in line. They don't seem to have a big assortment to me. The cashier although nice had a grasp of English which was nice, but she was a bit unknowledgeable about products they sell including drinks. Order was prepared pretty much in a timely manner, but they made choices with the meals that we would prefer they not do... Such as we ordered different box meals, and they put the box meals into one big box😟. The meat( original) was under cooked and a bit soggy. We approached the manager, who kinda acted as if was no big deal... Said oh, talked to her worker and asked us if everything else was ok. Like 3 times, but gave no replacement or apology, refund..nothing. We left as I wasn't going to argue over chicken. I don't believe we will go to this location for chicken again, as there is a KFC in Plus City which I find is better.. I hope others have a better experience than I did. to KFC: customers service skills and educated staff...
Read moreIf you're born in Austria and can only speak your native language, you better learn english before coming here as the staff can't speak german at all. The only time I ordered in german was today and I've been here 10+ times. Everytime I order here there's something wrong. Either the order you get is wrong or you don't get your order at all.. Or they don't take your order at all. Last time I was here I waited at the drive-through and there was no staff available to take the order, so after 15 minutes of silence at the speaker I just went inside. After ordering and waiting for 20 more minutes, I realized they deleted my order number, as I couldn't see it on the screen. I asked the same worker 3 times where my order was and every single time he showed me the screen and looked at me like I was the stupid one for being impatient. But my order number wasn't on the screen anymore. Because they skipped it. The fourth time I asked for someone else and this time the manager came, to whom I had to explain in english what happened and he didn't believe me, acting like I've received my order and hid it somewhere. But I was waiting there with my receipt since I ordered and I know he saw me waiting patiently everytime he brought food at the counter. I also asked the other staff member 3 times where my food was and he kept showing me the screen to wait for it as it was apparently coming soon. After arguing for a few minutes I finally got the order, which was wrong again but I just left with what I've got because I couldn't waste any more time there. Long story short: The staff sucks, they can't speak german even though the restaurant is in Austria, the food sucks, it's overpriced for the dry, cold chicken you get and it's a magnet for antisocial experiments. Thank God KFC opened a new location in Wels so I don't have to drive this long for this embarrassing food and dreadful...
Read moreIt was around 21:00 and because of the long drive we were all tired and we decided to stop by KFC on the Highway to have something to eat. It was quiet when we arrived. Not crowded at all. The food smelled excellent and my Kids were excited to order till they were shocked by the unfriendly reaction from the cashier as they were rushed to order when they didn't have a clear idea what to take, and she apparently did not like that. I understand that one might have a very stressful long workday but customers, I believe, are not concerned therein, and especially when they are kids who practically experienced today what it means to be "unfriendly". We drove again and gave our back to KFC forever. Thanks KFC for showing the best of...
