We had dinner there one Sunday night.

First impressions: As soon as you enter the restaurant, the upscale ambience and the cleanliness of the place catch your eye. One is immediately greeted friendly and accompanied to a table. The waiters are very polite and fast. At the place, a holiday mood soon comes up. This is ensured by the stylish Asian furnishings and the pleasant lighting of the rooms.

The buffet: We decided to eat from the buffet and not from the menu, as we had already seen the delicious food in the displays while passing by. The food could not be topped with freshness. The warm spits were not dried out but juicy and tasty. The Sushi was delicious. A very good selection and everything was very fresh. The waiters took care all the time that the spits did not get empty and it was refilled quickly. The live-cooking is the crowning touch. Not only there is a huge choice of different kinds of meat. Calf, deer, crocodile, kangaroo, zander, salmon, tuna etc. But it was also all very fresh. In addition, there is a wide selection of sauces, which are added to the food in the kitchen. And these sauces are the absolute hammer. Not as flat and boring as you are used to from other restaurants, but perfectly seasoned and adapted to the dish.

Hygiene: The waitresses wore masks all the time and kept their distance. There was even a hand disinfectant at the buffet, with which one could disinfect one's hands before touching the cutlery. The cooks also wore masks and gloves the whole time. We had a very safe feeling the whole time.

The food was great, loads of options as well. The restaurant was super clean and it has an attractive style and charm, it has a luxurious feeling to it. What felt really out of place was the interaction from the hosts/waiters, the way they react feels very 'uninterested' and 'bored', it didn't match the style of the restaurant in any way. My boyfriend and I were looking for an Asian restaurant that was open at 2pm on Saturday. We came across Monsoon by chance and I have to say - very, very tasty!
