Bäckerei Café Dorfbäck Aschau — Restaurant in Aschau im Zillertal

I’ve been going to the Aschau Cafe three times a week for two months. I’m doing an online course and will study until next summer. It was inconvenient as there was no wifi and staff were exceptionally unfriendly and unhelpful but it meant I didn’t need to drive too far.

However today, after being given the “locals” points card, one of the least unpleasant staff member told me that her boss said I wasn’t allowed the card because I wasn’t a local! I told her I was a local and that I was planning on coming to the cafe 3 times a week until next summer. She said she couldn’t do anything!

Frankly I was outraged as I was pleased to get some recognition of my loyalty. I left and as a result of your shortsightedness, I will never set foot in any of your cafes again and I’ll leave honest online reviews on all the main sites so people can read how you treat customers. I’ll go to a cafe which appreciates my custom. Typical greedy attitude of a business which makes money from tourism and doesn’t care about local people.

It took three months for someone to respond to my review and the reply is a joke. Firstly I asked if working there was ok BEFORE I started visiting regularly. So I asked permission first, just to be polite. I was told it was ok to work there. I also spent a lot of money there every day so I was more than paying for my presence. No one was disturbed by me because I used headphones so there was no noise and there was no typing on the keyboard as the questions were clicked not typed. Also there was only ever a couple of customers at any one time and the cafe was mostly empty when I was there so who am I supposed to have disturbed?? What a ridiculous thing to say that I cannot use my computer in your cafe. People all over the world go to cafes to do work! They are just inventing all this nonsense to divert from their terrible coffee, rude staff and awful customer service. Das Caffe ist zwar gemütlich eingerichtet,aber für Frühstück nicht geignet da zu wenig Personal vorhanden ist ich fragte die Verkäuferin wie es beim Dorfbäck so läuft da wurde uns gesagt zuerst kommen immer die Kunden die frische Brötchen wollen und erst nachher die Leute die Frühstücken klar die können ja nicht weg laufen wir Wohnten gerade ob der Bäckerei und wir wollten immer 14 Tage im Caffe Frühstücken aber das störte uns so sehr für uns aber weiterhin kein Problem in Fügen der Brotbuuben ist mega super und hat genug Angestellte die alle sind sehr freundlich also wir werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen einfach mit Frühstück in Fügen beim Dorfbuuben wo wir uns jetzt schon freuen Schade einfach aber wie gesagt wir sind Flexibel grüsse...
