Avoid this place, especially if you value your skiing time. Clear example of 'location is everything' restaurant, and yes thats the only positive i have to say about this place, you have stunning views of the surrounding mountains and are at a central location. The food is alright, typical Austrian cuisine.
The service is where this restaurant completely falls flat. First we had to wait 15 minutes to get helped, we waved the waiters multiple times, tried to call them and even made eye contact but were ignored until finally being helped after upping the volume.
After we were helped we started waiting, after 40 minutes we still hadn't received anything while people around us that arrived later had already received their dishes, one group even arrived 10 minutes later and got their food a whole 20 minutes earlier, after notifying the waiter of this he told us it would take another 10 minutes and that the kitchen was 'too busy', he immediately shunted our claims that other people did receive their food quickly and told us if we had any problems with the speed we should talk to his manager. I found his reaction to be quite rude as we only noted that our order was taking unreasonable long.
In the end lunch took 1.5 hours. Disappointing as this took away an hour of skiing time which is what it's all about. This restaurant could really be a lot better if the staff actually cared about the customers, sadly this will probably continue to be a problem as the restaurant is in a prime location which will ensure lots of customers. So, probably they will not take the effort to improve as they...

Read moreWe came here around 1 pm. It is very crowded and you have to find the table yourself. Keep in mind that if you are in a group of 2-3 you will need to share a table. As expected prices are very high with tap water being almost 3 euros. The kids menu is highly recommended as it is a good portion while not being expensive. The coffee was average but the Keiserschmarn were very tasty. The waiting time for food was very short despite the place being very busy. Overall a...
