Kostbar Syriana — Restaurant in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee

I am really surprised. When I looked on reviews, I expected a lovely restaurant with delicious food. Some things were excelent in this restaurant, and some not.

Positives: kind staff - The staff was actually really nice, especially the woman.

drinks - Drinks were good, I got ginger home made limonade.

French fries - They were delicious.

prices - Every thing was cheap.

Negatives: The staff forgot our starter, but that was OK, it happens. She said "sorry" many times.

length - We were waiting almost 45 minutes for our food. I would expected twice as less.

the taste - I got burger and I did not like it. The bun was old and to much craspy, and meat was not good too.

take away - The main problem why we were waiting for our food so long definitely was, that there were still coming a lot of people for take away and staff and cook did not do things in time.

I would not recomend you...

Delightful restaurant in the small place Bad Goisern surrounded by mountains. Amazing atmosphere, very kindhearted and attentive owner, which taking care of each guest like own family member, advising the best choice based on client preferences. Sustainable eco friendly restaurant with large variety of vegetarian dishes of an unforgettable taste. Definitely will visit it again, as soon as I’m in Bad Goisern.
