Great spot for a lunch stop. Spacious parking area. Amazing view on the Blindsee and Zugspitge. Staff is very friendly. Scrumbled eggs looked great. We only had a toast with ham and cheese. Stopped to let our son walk and play a bit, they have a nice little playground in the back with a slide, swings and a sand box, which was our son's favourite. Very clean toilet in the restaurant, equipped with baby changing table. You can also use the paid toilet outside next to the souvenir shop, it only goes with coins, though. I recommend taking at least a coffee and enjoy the view from the terrace of the restaurant.

Contrary to what others have written before me, I was greeted by great hospitality here. As the name suggests, this place is just panaromic. We had breakfast here and the food was nice. The tables clean. There is a huge parking area. The views from this place is just outstanding and if you happen to be on a cloudy day; you can watch the clouds dancing in the valleys below making it all the way more magical. Keep in mind, it’s mainly a bikers meeting point hence servers are as well a bit tough and harsh. Toilets are ok too. Overall I found it good value for money.

An excellent restaurant with a name that says it all in a wonderful location. Already in the past, when we were passing through outside of opening hours, we wanted to stop here sometime during the day. This year it finally worked, we had an excellent lunch. Everything was perfect. We got a place on the terrace with a great view. Our server was very nice, helpful and fast - thanks Milan. The food was very tasty and the prices quite reasonable. The beautiful views of the surrounding mountains are the icing on the cake. Great, we will definitely be back.

Ich kann mich manchen Berwertungen mit sehr gutes Essen nicht anschließen. Mein Essen, Tiroler Gröstl, (siehe Bild) war zwar gut, allerdings dazugehörige Tafelspitz totgebraten. Das Essen meiner Frau , unterirdisch. Fertigstellen, Mondaminsosse, Champions aus der Dose und Schweinemdallions die in der Pfanne ein zweites Mal gestorben sind. Wir wollten eigentlich auf der Terrasse sitzen, da wurde uns in einem unfreundlichen Ton mitgeteilt das die zu ist weil es kalt und regnerisch ist. So haben wir in der viel zu stickigen Gaststube Platz genommen. Meine Frau kam von der Toilette und in dem Moment wurde die Terasse dann doch geöffnet und wir wechselten auf diese, was mit einem recht mürigen Blick belohnt wurde. Es ist richtig das an diesem Tag das Wetter nicht unbedingt sonnig war, es war bewölkt aber definitiv trocken. Das einzige was das nicht besondere Essen aufgewertet hat, war der grandiose Blick auf das Zugspitzmassiv und den Blindsee, der im Übrigen sehr schön zu umrunden ist. Zu Fuß. Allerdings, dazugehört zwar nicht unbedingt hier her, aber die Zufahrt zum Blindsee geht über eine Mautstrasse, da der See Privatbesitz ist. Ander Bezahlschranke hat es mich regelrecht kalt erwischt, da dort keine Barzahlung möglich ist, sondern nur Kartenzahlung. Ohne einen Hinweis was die Maut tatsächlich kostet, wurden dann tatsächlich schlappe 15 Euro abgebucht, für naja 1,5 km extrem schmale Straße und einem Schotterparkplatz. Es besteht natürlich die Möglichkeit auch vom See aus über einen schmalen Wanderpfad zum Gasthof Zugspitzblick zu gehen, was es aber nicht unbedingt wert.

If you want to get a portion of sarcasm and humiliation, welcome to this place and be served by tall blond big guy. He is meeting with words "clean table is not good for you?". If you read it, man, I will give you free advise - instead of tips. I will handle your rudeness, but you suffer every day. Run away from this job if you hate people so much.

When driving over the Fernpass, it's a must, to stop here and experience the mighty Zugspitze. Looking at the mountain range that surrounds you feels like you're looking at giants. Hiking alongside the lake with such a mighty view is really wonderful and breathtaking. After your hike, you can enjoy a nice meal at the restaurant as well!
