If you don’t understand German, AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST. The English menu had a misleading translation — “fried sausage with fries” was listed incorrectly, and I only realized the price difference after checking my credit card transaction. Was charged 12.90 instead of 9.90 based on the English translation. When I asked the brazen cashier about it, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. "POMMES=FRIES!! SEMMEL=BREAD!!". It may only have been a €3 difference, but the principle matters. The inaccurate menu and poor attitude left a very bad impression, especially for visitors relying on English. To be honest I didn't expect such s culinary delight at this altitude. Usually food at such places is a disappointment. While food that served here is simple and uncomplicated, it's delicious and hearty. The portions are large, food is hot and freshly prepared. Reasonably priced to, surprisingly. My biggest joy was their apple strudel. O, my, how good, no perfect it was! Hands down - the best one I ate in my life! And I did try it in Vienna, NYC, DC and so on. This one was so perfect 👌.
