Restaurant & Pizzeria Bergschmied — Restaurant in Gemeinde Bramberg am Wildkogel

The restaurant was busy when we got there but then after 20 mins of waiting we got seated. Once seated we had our orders taken by the waitron. We received our drinks quite promptly. We ordered 2 pizzas and a burger. The burger came after 30 mins. Not wanting to start until my friends received their food I waited. An hour after ordering our food the pizzas finally arrived. This was after 3 tables that arrived after us have already received their food and paid their bills. We asked the where our food was a few times and the waitress gave excuses that it’s not her fault we should speak to the manager. We said we would like to but he/she never arrived. We spent a good part of 2 hours at this restaurant. The pizza was good but obviously we didn’t really enjoy it since we had to wait so long. We did receive any apologies for the inconvenience and wouldn’t hope anyone to receive such a horrible...

We orderd two cola's. We received two large cola's but we didn't ask for large one's. After checking the menu there were two prices for the cola's (without size's) but the first one on the menu was cheaper and the second one was the most expensive, so we thought that the second one was the price for the large one (that was 3,70 euro or something so we could life with that). After asking for the bill the cola's were 5,20 euro's each?? So we asked the staff why it was so expensive and why this price wasn't on the menu, they said because we orderd the large ones but we didn't we asked for a cola not for a large cola and she couldn't explain why they brought us the large ones or why this price wasn't on the menu. She only said that we already finished our large cola's so it was our problem?! Very weird and very confusing...

Food is alright, nothing special or unusual, the typical for restaurants in a town in the Austrian mountains - pizza, burgers, pasta, schnitzel, fries. We have been going there for 3 or 4 years and the service has always been nice. This year our AirBnb host recommended this restaurant as a more exclusive place to dine, not the down-to-earth local cuisine restaurant next door and I disagree with this - there are a few dishes like mussels for example that are not that often on the menus, but that doesn't make the restaurant much more exclusive. It is cosy, kids from the ski school eat their lunch there (separate room), skiers go down for lunch there, it is chill and this is what I like about it. Location is great next...
