If you're in Vienna and you were able to get hold of a hire car, then take the 30min drive out to this place as it is totally worth it! This place produces their literally everything, from their selected wines, to pork belly roasts from their own pig farm, to own potatoes for their dumplings and their pates and desserts. The service is fantastic and the prices were the highlight of this whole visit. For the quality and taste of their meals, I still believe they didn't charge me enough! One pork belly roast slice with their local dumpling and gravy and a cucumber and potatoes salad only cost me €9!! Wine bottles are charged at €20 for table service and only £8 to take away. I cannot stress enough that visiting is place is worthwhile! Make sure you call to check before you visit, as the close every other month to replenish their stocks.

A great place to enjoy great local wine and some local homemade dishes. The "Schweinsbraten" is one of their signature dishes. They raise their own pigs with care. The kitchen is prelaring the dishes with great passion and perfection which is what makes this place special. Ich war heute Nachmittag bei euch, um etwas zu essen mit zu nehmen. Ich hatte ein paar Tupperboxen in einem Korb dabei und wurde sofort unglaublich freundlich empfangen. "Ah, sie wollen bestimmt das essen mitnehmen. " sagte eine der Angestellten und nahm mir gleich 2 Boxen mit meiner Bestellung ab um sie in der Küche befüllen zu lassen, den Rest erledigten wir dann normal an der Theke. Da ich so viel bestellte, wurde mir vom Saft und Scherzerl einiges dazu gegeben ohne es zu verrechnen. Der Preis war unter meiner Vorstellung und war sehr fair für die Menge....mittlerweile wurde natürlich alles gegessen und getrunken, und es war super lecker. Egal ob die Hauptmahlzeit, die Mehlspeis oder der rote Traubensaft, alle waren begeistert. So stellt man sich das Menü beim Heurigen vor.....Wir kommen...
