Heuriger Redinger — Restaurant in Gemeinde Klosterneuburg

We wanted to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends and the kids (total of 5 adults and 5 kids in the age between 3-5 yrs) in August 2018 at this place and had a table reserved. Our kids where enjoying the garden and playing, sometimes running around in the garden (they are kids after all). The owner (an elderly man) first just made comments that the kids are too loud - but not directly towards us, just behind our backs. When one of the kids was crawling on top of an empty very rustic and old bench he started shouting at the 4 years old kid and complaining toward us that we do not have our kids under control. Now we are not talking about not educated crazy kids but regular 3-5 years old ones. He kept complaining in a very unpolite way and ignored our remarks that we were consuming heavily drinks, food and he made good business with us. Summary: if you have kids or you like kids or people who respect them: don't visit this place!!...

I understand some of the earlier reviews, but this authentic Heurigen is certainly not a 5 star one. Yes, the garden is very nice and the Backhendl great, but the wine is just average and the service "mixed". Unjust vs. other Heurigen would one award a perfect rating, but definitely a very nice and thoroughly...
