Restaurant — Restaurant in Gemeinde Laxenburg

Sep 20190921 I took a guided tour in the Museum of Franzenburg. And before i left, I was hungry, so I desided to eat at the local restaurant. It did not live up to my expectations. I ordered first Leberknödelsuppe. I love that, but this one was not cooked properly, and the texture was very rough grinding. When I started to eat it, It just fell apart. And I can tell, that It was no Beefliver, It was Pigliver. And I could not feel the flavour from either muskat or Mejram. After that I ordered the Surschnitzel with French fries, no sallad included, had to pay an extra 3,50Euro for that. No sauce (like ketchup, majonaise) comed with it. When it served, i got a plate with some overcoocked thin french fries. Some of them would make me go to dentist, if I had eaten them. The Schnitzel was not local made, it was purchased frosen. Not hard to tell, but not so bad, It was not dry inside, but lacked some flavour.

Overall. The beer was the best :-) I paid around 24 Euro. Gave him 40 Euro, and said I want 13 Euros back, but only got 10? And he nearly just said thank´s. And he just walked away.

We had a very bad experience here. When we came, the restaurant was pretty full but we still managed to find a place in the shadow. When the waiter didn't come for quite some time, we just wanted her to notice us, because the serving was not organized at all. Then she came and said that we are sitting in the closed area but the tables next to us had food and beverages on the table. And when we sat there, the chairs was not on the table or...

Einmal waren wir letzten Sommer da gewesen. Der Gastgarten voll mit Menschen. Das Essen auf den Tischen hat sehr gut ausgesehen. Die Kellner haben sich über unsere Köpfe weg Sachen zugeschrien wie z.B.: Der von Tisch 21 will noch was oder hast du denen da drüben u. deutet mit der Hand schon kassiert. Die Kellner erinnern stark an eine Fernfahrerspelunke neben der Schnellstrasse. Wo so ein Ton hinpassen könnte. Das zweite Mal waren wir dieses Jahr an einem bewölkten Tag dort. Ganz allein. Zum Glück wusste ich das die unscheinbare Tür der Eingang ist. Bei der Tür reingesehen, die Frage ist Geöffnet mit einem knappen " Ja" beantwortet. Lokal sieht innen sehr nett aus und passt zu dem Franzenburg Ambiente. Kellner, auf die Frage ob es Schnitzel gibt, die Antwort-Nur das was auf der Karte steht, geht weg. Frage nach gerufen, welche Torten zur Auswahl seien. Kellner ohne sich umzudrehen, deutet auf die Vitrine, die wir da haben, geantwortet. Kaffee war recht gut, Tortenstück auch. Hätten eher gern was festeres gegessen, auf Würstl oder Gulaschsuppe hatten wir keinen Appetit. Das es nur eine reduzierte Speisekarte gibt an so einem Tag kann ich ja auch verstehen. Wir der Kellner ja auch zu uns sagte, das ja heute keine Leute kommen würden. Lokal ob voll oder leer- die Kellner sind immer...
