Friendly Brändle Restaurant, Bar, Ski und Shop — Restaurant in Gemeinde Lech

If you need proper bootfitting, avoid this shop! They are kind but the fitting is unfortunately far from professional (at least the one I had...). They make poor work (see pic) then blame it on you, that you can not explain your problems. Interestingly the last 4 fitters I worked with understood them and were able to do the stuff. The boot is unfortunately worse than before fitting, because it got deformed on unwanted spots too and now it pushes there. To be correct: After a short talk the guy said that I can leave the boot there again and they fix it. But after seeing that quality, no thanks. Normally you get a second boot after a case like this.

It is not a problem if you can not do something but please communicate it, then I find somebody else instead of wasting each others time! Disappointing experience and the most frustrating aspect is that I still can not use my new boot and now I have to find somebody around who fixes...

After breaking a ski on the mountain I skied down to Zürs and stumbled into friendly Brändle to explain my situation and see what could be done. Little did I know I’d have one of the best shop experiences of my life. Philipp went out of his way, literally above and beyond to help me. He contacted the brand rep and they were able to get me a warranty ski shipped mounted and back on my feet in 3 days time. He hooked me up with a sweet rental while I waited for my new planks to come in. Truly one of the nicest people I have met in the ski industry.

Oh and while you wait have yourself some goulash and a spritz! Can’t wait to be back in the Alps!
