Blaue Blunzn — Restaurant in Gemeinde Mödling

A traditional Gasthaus with all the classic means and a surprisingly extensive wine menu. Happy and very attentive waiters make your stay very welcoming and pleasant.

Having had the potato soup with meat - which was fantastic - the main course of Schinkenfleckerl was a bit of a let down due to a deciding lack in flavour and seasoning. Unfortunate, as most other aspects of my visit would have warranted five stars.

If you’re in the area, and are up for a hearty meal, a local wine and friendly service, give the Blaue Blunzn a chance....

Blau Blunz‘n der Mittag Klassiker in Mödling, von Banker bis zu Pensionisten kommen alle gerne zu Blunz‘n. Warum? Weil es ordentlich und gut österreichische Küche gibt. Nein genauer gesagt Wiener Küche gibt, also durchaus auch Beuschel (Lunge) und Leber. Aber auch die Vegetarier bekommen mit Kürbisnocken etwas geboten. Selbst die Lasange war in Ordnung wobei man lieber bei der Wirtshaus Küche bleiben sollte. Klassische Gaststuben und im Sommer ein Traum von einem Kastaniengarten.
