A Very Disappointing Experience Compared to the Past This visit was a real letdown. The museum is gone, and with it the engaging way Loacker used to tell its story—through pictures, tools, and interactive activities. Our kids were especially disappointed not to see the famous chocolate waterfall or the machinery behind the glass, which used to show how the chocolate was made. None of that is there anymore. The lab area has expanded, but at the expense of the fun and informative displays that both kids and adults used to enjoy. Outside, the space that once welcomed families to sit and relax for free is now gone. You're only allowed to sit if you're at the indoor or outdoor bar—and you're expected to order and pay for something. The little playhouse and the shaded playground are no longer there. Instead, there’s a new playground in full sun, placed next to the bar—again, requiring parents to purchase food or drinks in order to sit nearby. Inside, it's the same story: just a bar and a shop. What used to be a fun, educational, and relaxing stop has turned into a money-making machine with no room left for history, creativity, or play. I regret buying tickets for the lab. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely won’t recommend...

Also, we’re confused as to why we were met with frustration from your team, when it was clearly not our fault. The team making the drinks even seemed upset with us. In reality, an apology would have been more appropriate on your side.
We’re sharing this not out of anger, but in the hope that our experience can lead to better service for...

To break that down: • Loacker S.p.A. was founded in 1925 in Bolzano (South Tyrol, Italy) by Alfons Loacker . • The site in Heinfels, featuring the coffee shop, exhibition, and interactive pastry workshop (collectively known as the “Loacker World of Goodness”), opened in 2010 .
So, to answer your question: the Loacker coffee shop and factory area in Heinfels has been established since 2010, while the broader company traces its origins back to 1925.
Highly recommended to give it a visit and chill-out and buy...
