A really good restaurant! I had the humus entree. Although humus suggests it's about the chickpea puree, it's only the canvas on which the zucchini plays the center part. Try tasting all the ingredients in one bite, and the tastes will flow from one to the another in exquisite harmony. As a main I had the ribs marinated in a locally brewed dark Bock. Really good as well, but to be honest it's the entree that really blew me away. The price for a three course menu is only 33€. Walking by this restaurant without trying, is a crime in my book. We enjoyed a wonderful 4 course meal for dinner. Atmosphere was comfortably elegant, food was outstanding, service was friendly and helpful, and wines were delicious and very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the take on traditional dishes such as the steak tartare and Schweinsripperl with kraut as well as the innovative vegetarian dishes which included chanterelles with cauliflower and a steamed pumpkin dish that burst with flavor. I have just left this beautiful place after enjoying for the past 3 hours the amazing 8 course gourmet menu. Reading the menu makes your mind go wild and imagine fabulous food but truth to be told reading it doesn't do the real experience any justice. The creativity of the chef turns it into an audible, visual and taste bud extravaganza. Together with the accompanying and always matching Austrian wines it becomes an unforgettable delight.
