Der Bäcker Ruetz - Mühlau Arzl — Restaurant in Innsbruck

I went there to meet with a friend because Ruetz was the most convenient place to meet around his workplace. The coffee they use for the cappuccino was too strong in my opinion, but the Griechisches Vollkorn Fladen mit Spinat I ordered was very tasty and filling 🤤 In general, I liked the tidiness and the atmosphere but the black trays they served the products along with were extremely old and looking pretty damaged. In my opinion, a very well-known chain bakery shop like Ruetz should definitely spend some money to renew them. Other than that, everything was nice. Ohh and by the way, it's self-service. You need to grab what you want to eat...

Not impressed :( I ordered a smoked salmon sandwich which had old, salad in it and cost me €4:90. I had to take a lot of lettuce out but the salmon tasted okay. The price was not displayed on the sales counter and it was next to similar sandwiches (ham, cheese etc), for €3:60, so when I bought it I thought it would be that price. I felt a bit cheated and went back to the counter. They had put fresh smoked salmon sandwiches there and still no price tag! Bereits beim ersten Blick von draußen wurde mir klar, dass der Besuch in der Filiale fest eingeplant ist. Nachdem ich fertig getankt hatte, begab ich mich also zum Bäcker. Auch der erste Eindruck im Inneren ließ keine Enttäuschung zu. Die Auswahl hinterm Tresen erinnerte an ein farbenfrohes Gemälde, als wär Gabriel Chabrat persönlich am Werk gewesen. Relativ schnell wurde mir klar, dass die Olivenstangerl mein Frühstück sein wird. Auch hier wurde ich nicht enttäuscht - ein echter Genuss! Vom Stangerl bis hin zum Rucola hat alles unglaublich frisch geschmeckt, als würden die Zutaten direkt vom nächstgelegenen Bauernhof stammen. Die verschiedensten Aromen haben nahezu so gut harmoniert, wie Barcelona unter Pep Guardiola.
