Chinarestaurant Aurora — Restaurant in Kirchberg in Tirol

The place is nice and cosy. Good for outing for formal as well as casual dining. At the end you receive wafers to take away. Daily menu consists of a starter (you can choose between soup or spring rolls (mini spring rolls are vegetarian whereas large ones are non-vegetarians)) followed by a curry of your choice and rice. I liked this Thai curry with coconut milk. Staff is polite and friendly. The location is at the city centre. The menu is fairly priced since kirchberg is more of a touristic place. They do not have so much vegetarian options but still one can find some. The only thing that disappointed me was that they didn't had vegetarian dumplings but this is only restricted to me (being vegetarian), otherwise they have a lot of options for...

Excellent food! One of the best Chinese restaurants we have had in Europe. We stayed nearby for our recent holiday and went to the restaurant a few times during our stay. Recommended dishes:

1. Gan Bian Beef (spicy)
2. Fried noodles with chicken
3. Crispy Chicken with garlic sauce
4. Crispy Duck (the best part was the vegetables tempura that accompanied the crispy Duck)
5. Sweet and Sour Pork
6. Spring Rolls

Prices are reasonable and the best part is free flow of steamed rice...

Große Enttäuschung – Nie wieder!

Unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant war eine absolute Katastrophe. Schon die Speisekarte ließ zu wünschen übrig – unvollständig und ohne jegliche Angaben zu Allergenen. Wer hier besondere Bedürfnisse hat oder einfach nur wissen möchte, was er isst, wird komplett im Stich gelassen. Auf Nachfrage gab es keinerlei Entgegenkommen, Anpassungen waren unmöglich. Frisches oder gedünstetes Gemüse? Fehlanzeige! Stattdessen wurde alles in Fett ertränkt. Das „frittierte Gemüse“ war ein schlechter Witz – 90 % Teig, 10 % Gemüse.

Der Tiefpunkt war jedoch die Ente: eine völlige Zumutung! Absolut trocken, zäh und hart wie Kohle – ungenießbar. Mehrere Personen aus unserer Gruppe hatten nach dem Essen sofort Magenprobleme, was die Qualität nur noch mehr infrage stellt.

Erst am Ende fiel uns auf, dass Stammgäste deutlich bevorzugt wurden: Während sie ansprechend präsentierte Gerichte in scheinbar besserer Qualität erhielten, bekamen wir lieblos hingeklatschte Teller serviert.

Dazu kommen Preise, die in absolut keinem Verhältnis zur miserablen Qualität stehen. Für das, was hier serviert wird, ist jeder Euro zu viel! Nach einer langen Diskussion wurde uns zwar finanziell etwas entgegengekommen, aber das ändert nichts daran, dass wir dieses Restaurant nie wieder betreten werden.

Fazit: Wer Wert auf gutes Essen, fairen Service und Qualität legt, sollte dieses Restaurant...
