Had a horrible experience here. The staff didn’t attend our table for quite a long although the tables weren’t full. An old lady staff took our order and then she completely forgot it. After the order was successfully placed, the first item came to our table was the dessert(ice cream). The staff bringing the dessert to our table claimed that’s the way we wanted our order to be served. Food quality was average compared to the price. Unfortunately we didn’t have an alternative to that place, as that’s the only restaurant that was open that day ,nearby the waterfalls. Overall experience was ok. As this restaurant is on the way to Krimml waterfall, dish prices are on higher side. I felt waiting time was more although restuarant was not full. I doubt, if restaurant can manage customers during high season and high time. However, food taste was good. Service personnel were polite and helpful. They were speaking good english. One star missing for higher dish prices and another star for closing time is too...

Wir waren dort im März 24 Essen. Mit dem Essen und und dem Service waren wir sehr zufrieden, auch die Preise für das Essen fanden wir angemessen. Die Portionen waren angemessen, das Essen wirklich sehr lecker. Und ich habe was dazugelernt. Sowohl die Bratkartoffeln meines Mannes, die er ausgemacht lecker fand, als auch meine Champignionsoße enthielten Kümmel. Mein Mann und ich hassen normalerweise Kümmel und fanden bisher den Geschmack ekelhaft. Hier aber sind wir nicht wegen des Geschmacks auf Kümmel gekommen, sondern weil wir ihn im Essen gesehen, aber nicht herausgeschmeckt haben, nur einen leicht anderen Touch von Geschmack. Daraufhin habe ich nachgefragt und es ergab sich, dass der Koch persönlich antworte. Er brät den Kümmel an. Damit verliert der Kümmel seinen harten, strengen Geschmack, den wir nicht mögen und gab den Gerichten eine Geschmacksnote. Mega toller Tipp!!!Seitdem verwende ich Kümmel auch in meiner Küche (angebraten). Wenn wir noch mal bei den Krimml-Wasserfällen sind, gehen wir auf jeden Fall noch mal da essen, von uns eine...
