Seerestaurant Kropfitschbad — Restaurant in Krumpendorf am Wörthersee

We planned to make our wedding party at Kropfitschbad in Krumpendorf. Unfortunately, 4 weeks before the party shall take place, no reply on phone calls and no reaction on any conversation, no offer for the meal. Cons: We made a first appointment to check out the location - after 1h of waiting (few more couples at the same time), the owner took herself time to give an audience. Our own wishes and ideas regarding the meal and the party were completely ignored - after that I found out (on reviews), that the meal proposed by the owner, was same as for any other wedding. Offer for the festivity was promised on the day after the meeting. 6 weeks before the party shall take place, no offer, no reaction on calls, SMS or any other attempt to reach the owner. (prob. another/better customer in petto??) 2 weeks before the party shall take place we received "the offer" - few lines of text containing nothing of the ideas discussed. Service is more or less bad, waited nearly 2h for the food. We decided to quit before things get worse! Pros: Food is quite good Location in nice with a nice view on the mountains and the lake. Die Aussicht und das Ambiente ist wirklich äußerst schön. Alles eigentlich recht exlusiv. Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert, weil wir wussten, dass es sehr voll sein wird. Als wir ankamen standen wir erst einmal ein bisschen im Restaurant herum und die Angestellten gingen einfach bei uns vorbei. Nach ca. 8min. kam eine Frau, die uns sagte, dass unser Tisch erst in einer Viertel Stunde frei sein würde. Wir hatten damit eigentlich kein Problem und gingen solange am Steg bzw. zur Marina. Dies hat uns sehr gefallen. Weil ich nicht zu sehr ins Detail gehen will, fasse ich es kurz zusammen: nach ca. 30 min. bekamen wir endlich einen Tisch. Dies war aber für uns aber nicht wirklich von schlimmer Bedeutung und man hat sich freundlicherweise dafür entschuldigt. Wir bekamen zu viert einen Tisch für zwei Personen! Ich hab zwar meine Familie sehr lieb, aber dass ist dann wirklich etwas zu viel! Als wir anschließend ein zusammengefaltedes Papier erhielten, welches als Speißekarte fungierte (war sehr lieb gestaltet)und in dem keine Getränke verfasst waren, war allerdings ein Rechtschreib Fehler zu verzeichnen (war natürlich überhaupt kein Problem und ist wirklich sehr kleinlich von mir dies zu erwähnen. Nun komme ich zu den Punkt der mich aber wirklich gestört hat und auch nur für die ☆☆☆☆ verantwortlich ist. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit erhielten wir den Gruß aus der Küche! Ein paar Minuten später wurde uns das gesamte Essen aufeinmal am viel zu kleinen Tisch gestellt und wir hatten den Gruß aus der Küche noch nicht mal aufgegessen gehabt. Was ich aber direkt erwähnen will ist, dass sich der Kellner sehr lieb und aufrichtig dafür entschuldigt hat. Für mich ist es aber trozdem ein Kritikpunkt. Das Essen war OK. Mein Saiblings-Filet, wurde ohne Extrawunsch an den Tisch gebracht und hat meiner Meinung nach etwas verkocht geschmeckt. War trozdem in Ordnung. Liegt auch daran dass alles Drumherum sehr schön war. Will mich auch trozdem für den netten Abend bedanken. Wir kommen wieder und empfehlen es wahrscheinlich auch weiter. War ein sehr schöner Abend und die Preise waren...

Beautiful place with great beach and docks for ships and boats. Outstanding surrounding and restaurant where you seat literally by the lake. Enough of good staff everywhere so no need to wait to long to be served. Would highly recommend also for families with small children. Entrance for the beach for adults is 4,50 EUR however worth every dime. Would really recommend it. The landlord is very polite and...
