A beautiful family-run farm with a stunning view overlooking Langenfeld. Excellent beer and homecooked food. Friendly service and plenty of surrounding wildlife. Be warned, walking up the main road from Langenfeld is quite a tough trek if you're not a pro hiker! The onward walk towards the picturesque Burgstein crosses a fantastic suspension bridge. Wunderbar, wir kommen jedes Jahr gerne wieder her um zwischendurch uns zu erholen. Der kurze Wanderweg von 30-44 Minuten je nachdem von welcher Seite man kommt. Oben angekommen wird man belohnt von einer traumhaften Aussicht mit der kleinen Kapelle. Saftigen Wiesen und kleinen frechen Ziegen, Hasen, Hühnern und Minischweinchen. Diesmal wieder mit vier kleinen Babyschweinchen. Leckere Brotzeit und kleinere Gerichte. Auf den Kaiserschmarrn muss man lange warten oder früher kommen denn dieser wird frisch traditionell selber gemacht. Gut Ding will Weile. Ist aber unvergleichlich lecker. Diesmal haben wir keinen mehr bekommen nur neidisch auf die anderen Teller gelist. Nächstes Jahr kommen wir früher ;-) Rhabarberschorle oder Apfelschorle von den eigenen Bäumen sehr gut. Oh ja die Spinatknödel waren dieses Jahr nicht auf der Karte....
